JOHANNA ENGELS – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – APOLLO BAY

Johanna was born in Germany and has been travelling to Australia and many other countries all over the world since 2016. She settled into Apollo Bay in 2020 and enjoys being part of the community.  Her background in customer service and hospitality helps her to build excellent relationships with owners and to ensure that every guest’s experience goes smoothly.   In her spare time, you will find Johanna on the beach going for a swim, taking her dog Trixie for a walk, or enjoy spending time at home with her family and cat.

KATJA NEDOLUHA – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – AIREYS INLET

Katja is a dynamic individual whose journey from Europa to Australia has been as diverse as the landscapes she now calls home. Katja lives on land in the picturesque Otways region in her own rural paradise, sharing it with her son, three dogs, and two horses. With a degree in Anthropology and a passion for cultural exploration, Katja’s professional path has led her to immerse herself in the rich tapestry of Aboriginal communities in Broome, the Great Sandy Desert and Victoria. Her experiences have not only shaped her understanding of diverse cultures but have also honed her skills in communication, conflict resolution, and attention to detail. Katja’s commitment to fostering positive connections extends beyond her professional endeavors; she cherishes the people she encounters from all walks of life, embracing absolutely everyone with warmth and enthusiasm.

KYLIE FRAZER – TEAM LEADER

Kylie has lived in Aireys Inlet for the last 30 years, even attending the local Aireys primary school. She loves events, both attending as a guest and organizing, which makes her a perfect fit at Great Ocean Road Holidays. When she’s not at an event, you’ll see Kylie camping and fishing with family and friends around Aireys and along the coast. Kylie is especially fond of her classic cars and looking after her pet ferret Billy – you might even see her on her daily walk with Billy.

MARIO LOPES – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – APOLLO BAY

Mario joined Great Ocean Road Holidays in 2023 bringing both a Diploma in tourism and Travel Industry alongside a career in construction. Mario loves helping
holiday goers have a relaxing time as much as he enjoys the hands on side of problem solving and caring for our owners homes. Mario started his journey to Australia 10 years ago and has been a part of the Apollo Bay community for the past 6 years. In his spare time, Mario enjoys surfing, fishing and spending time with his young family visiting the Otways.

MATTHEW NEILL – MANAGER

Matthew brings a wide variety of accommodation experience over the past 25 years. Along with an ongoing commitment to exceeding expectations of both guests and owners, Matthew has an eagerness to embrace new technology that will assure our business continues to be a dominant force in the ever changing holiday rental market. Matthew is an active member of the local community and has called the region home for over 15 years.  A passion for all things outdoors, in particular the ocean, Matt is often seen paddling out pre dawn in what he describes as ‘the best possible way to start the day’.

PATRICK WHEADON – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – LORNE

Patrick has been a member of the area since he was a baby, growing up in Birregurra, graduating Trinity College in 2022 and now spending a majority of time in Wye River. Delivering expectational property service through an ‘on the ground’ approach, Patrick thoroughly enjoys getting out and about to properties whenever he can and taking care of maintenance an issues when possible. Outside work Pat spends most of his time hanging with mates, surfing, fishing and causing havoc wherever possible. He has been a talented member of the Birregurra Football Club since in nappies and love having a kick on Saturdays.

SABINE WEILER – TEAM LEADER

Sabine originally born in Germany moved to Australia in 1989 and on the birth of her twins has moved to Anglesea almost 20 years ago. Well and truly a local now. Sabine has had extensive experience in the event and hospitality. Sabine loves developing close relationships with owners and guests and with a flair for business development, she thrives on gaining new listings. Outside of work she loves the outdoors and walking with her 2 dogs Bull and Belle. She had been actively involved in the local community due to her twins Ruby and Oscar playing football and netball.

VICKY ZIOGAS – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – ANGLESEA

Vicky has been connected with the Surf Coast since 1990 after the purchase of a holiday home in Aireys Inlet which became her permanent abode in 2007. Definitely one of life’s better decisions! Working at GORRE has been a pivotal part of her life since 2008 with customer service, problem solving and attention to detail being major attributes of her job performance. Family, friends and pets are an endless source of gratitude and pride. Plants, sunshine and open spaces are her ‘mental therapy’.
