Welcome to White Gables
Those who know and love the stunning coastal village of Lorne, know White Gables has a long history. Once an iconic book end to the North of town, Gables was sadly taken by fire on Ash Wednesday. Since then the property has been rebuilt, renovated and restyled over the years and now finally opens its doors to the public. Its most recent refurbishment takes the home to a new level of luxury and indulgence.

Coupled with a location that literally is a stones throw from the beach, White Gables views are jaw dropping. Even relaxing in the rear courtyard is like kicking back on the deck of ship. Ocean views are all but impossible to avoid no matter where you are in the home.

The View

Perched above the iconic Great Ocean Road archway sits ‘The View’.

Expansive yet welcoming, this prestigious Eastern View home combines world class coastline views with privacy and quietness afforded by bush surrounds.

Upon entry, your eyes are drawn to, and beyond, the cathedral like floor to ceiling windows which frame the most spectacular views of the Southern Ocean. A large spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining zone takes full advantage of these glorious views. It is the perfect place to spend time with your family and friends in any season.

Beyond the main living, the top level offers four bedrooms all with ensuites and all with their own unique view. Upstairs takes everything on offer downstairs literally to the next level. Behold the main living space awash with breathtaking views capturing Lornes iconic highlights including the pier, main beach, Otway forest, township and extending out to the horizon. There is no shortage of lounging potential with 10m of day bed wrapping around the entire front of the living and dining area and nestled at the base of the huge windows looking towards the ocean. A modern chaise lounge adds to the comfort. The warm glow of the open log fire provides further ambiance while triple sliding doors bring the outdoors in and extends the living space even further. Kitchen and dining both occupy this open space with the fully en suited master bedroom, with ocean view, offset to the rear.

Outdoor living is catered for in a variety of ways at Bauhaus. The large rear deck adjoining the kitchen is secluded and sheltered from winds and features a custom built 10 seat outdoor table setting and inbuilt 5-burner stainless steel BBQ. The Eastern deck adjoining the upstairs living room has a 5 seat heated spa and views to the pier. Lush green lawn stretch across the front of the property and a second lawn area at the rear boasts a king size hammock big enough for the whole family. What a lovely, well maintained property. Recently renovated and situated within an easy stroll to the town centre and the Apollo Bay main beach, all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy. The property has a lovely raised deck area at the front of the property nestled amongst the trees where you can while away the hours with family/friends over a glass of wine and simply enjoy the ambiance of what the property offers. The rear of the property also offers another entertaining area with BBQ.

The Bush Block

Welcome to THE BUSH BLOCK in Aireys Inlet, an amazing place to stay in the perfect beach town. A spacious yet cozy house on a massive bush block with a perfect combination of seclusion and comfort.

Located just outside the town limits where the bush takes over, yet still just a short walk to the top shops and weekend market and also an easy walk to the beach and close to coastal and bush walking tracks. Once on the property you’ll feel a million miles away from everything other than a very few neighbours and perhaps a couple of kangaroos and maybe the occasional echidna, and of course the local king parrots.

The house has been designed for convenience and comfort and features a utility deck behind the carport with a hot/cold shower and direct access into the laundry. You can also rinse off your beach gear, boards and wetsuits and hang them out to dry.

A spacious living area – lounge, dining, open kitchen and covered outdoor area all open up to become one huge living area. Off this there is a big outdoor deck, a perfect spot to enjoy the sun. There is also a huge wood heater if you are staying in the colder months.

There are 2 large double bedrooms and a full bathroom with a freestanding bath in the main house. And if you feel like some private time, there is a separate lounge area sitting room where you can tune out and read.

The back unit (attached to the main house) has been set up for the kids with their own living space with TV, a bunk room that sleeps 4 and a bathroom.

Pets are welcome, however the property is not fenced so the laundry is a good spot to leave your pet if you are going out.

In the warmer months enjoy the salty sea breezes, the sound of the waves rolling in and the smell of the bush from the deck or soak up the views in air-conditioned comfort.

Bird life abounds and you may spot a koala, often in the trees across the road or in the back garden. Snuggle up in front of the wood heater in the cooler months watching the ever-changing moods of the sea.
