Proceeding down the timber-sculptured staircase you are invited into the open plan dining/living area, kitchen, walk-in pantry, laundry, guest bathroom, bar area and the private master bedroom wing with its expansive walk-in wardrobe/dressing-room and stunning bathroom featuring an ocean view shower and double vanity. The kitchen comes complete with Miele appliances and everything needed for a gourmet retreat. The dining area has an indoor table for 8 and a breakfast bar for 2 with glass bi-fold doors opening directly onto the expansive deck where you can enjoy the complete indoor/outdoor experience. The deck has a discrete enclosed outdoor shower, a large hooded gas BBQ and a designer outdoor setting for up to 10 to dine while taking in the ocean views. The indoor living area has plush couches, a large smart TV/blue ray/Foxtel with a quality surround sound system that can be streamed throughout the house and a large open fireplace.

Now down to the lower level where there are two further bedrooms with large queen size beds, built in robes and a third bedroom with 2 king size bunks beds allowing 4 adults to sleep in comfort. The Treehouse

The Treehouse is much more than a beach holiday destination. It is a rare coastal experience that will have you raving. A peaceful paradise created for those with an appreciation for nature, comfort and charm. The property has been meticulously prepared to serve as much as a retreat as it is a coastal holiday home. Set over three levels the house is perched on the hillside amongst the canopy of surrounding gums. Spacious decks on both valley facing levels give you that treehouse feel. SWANSEA is fully fenced so the furry member of the family is welcome (surcharge applies).

St John gives the best of all worlds.

The house sits proud on the hill at the top of Lorne. From the wrap around deck, we overlooked not just the town and beaches, but the whole bay and reserve. There was always something happening, always something to watch; hours just passed by and brought that unmistakable, relaxed holiday feeling.

The house is exquisitely furnished, and only recently completed. All tastefully done, and everything we needed had been thought of, but we really appreciated those little touches that make a holiday: The long forgotten board games that we used to play as kids; Books and magazines; The wireless speaker for everyone’s competing playlists. We just moved right in and didn’t put the TV on once.

Then there’s the den below the main living areas. Separate but joined. Pool table or quiet space. It was good for children escaping adults, or adults escaping kids. Self- contained with sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom facilities.

It was blissful.

Upstairs is open plan with reverse cycle air con/heating and a combustion heater and a powder room. The pool table will provide endless entertainment or there is a big screen TV for those who don’t indulge in playing pool. The upstairs deck is large enough for the whole family to enjoy a BBQ in the summer months or soak up the morning sun with a coffee in the milder winter months. Downstairs is a sheltered courtyard with a table and chairs – maybe a place to escape with the morning paper or a book. Whatever the season, SEA-SHELL will provide a memorable family holiday.

This classic double storey beach house has ocean views and a great deck for relaxing and catching those summer breezes, afternoon siestas or just curled up with a good book. It is an easy walk to the famous family friendly Point Roadknight beach which is patrolled in the summer months.
