Welcome to White Gables
Those who know and love the stunning coastal village of Lorne, know White Gables has a long history. Once an iconic book end to the North of town, Gables was sadly taken by fire on Ash Wednesday. Since then the property has been rebuilt, renovated and restyled over the years and now finally opens its doors to the public. Its most recent refurbishment takes the home to a new level of luxury and indulgence.

Coupled with a location that literally is a stones throw from the beach, White Gables views are jaw dropping. Even relaxing in the rear courtyard is like kicking back on the deck of ship. Ocean views are all but impossible to avoid no matter where you are in the home.

Four bedrooms flank two main living zones. Decks front and back both equipped with stylish outdoor furnishings. All spaces give off a bit of a Hamptons feel with bright fresh tones, elegant styling and soft artworks. Bedrooms are well appointed and the kitchen fit for a chef. Vue De Mer

Vue de Mer is nothing short of absolute luxury. This modern, architecturally designed home is set in serene bushland allowing you to enjoy the wildlife, while still experiencing expansive ocean views, including down to the swing-bridge. Sit in the lounge and see the rosellas, cockatoos and occasional koala, or concentrate on creating a meditative state while watching waves roll-in.

Ideal for couples and families, this large home has different zones to enjoy games with the family, peace and downtime, or to relax with friends and family over a cheese platter and glass of wine. Only a 15 minute drive to Lorne and 1 hour 45 minutes from the city, The Farm is contemporary luxury in a superb pastoral setting and a dramatic view that will have you absolutely awestruck.

The Bayleys

The Bayleys beach house is all about expecting the unexpected. For example, it has an abundance of space in a location you would least expect it. It oozes character. Something that is fast disappearing in cosmopolitan Lorne. It nurtures heritage while embracing modern styling. Not too cool for school but pretty damn cool. Sounds exciting, it is.

Built in the early 1920s The Bayleys was once the managers residence for Cora Lynn guest house. It has been part of the same family for 4 generations and has been expanded and renovated to accommodate large extended families and friends. The most recent refurbishment of the upper level of the home has allowed it to be opened to the public for the first time.

Nestled right behind the Main Street and an easy stroll to the central Lorne Beach, supermarket and restaurants you can lock the car up, forget about it, the Mexican is only one block away!

Comprising five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a variety of living zones, the home seems to meander its way on and off the surrounding built in verandah. The house has a fully equipped kitchen dining area and a unique Lorne family history room where you can sit by the wood fire and step back in time! There is a large outdoor heated spa next to a BBQ and entertainment area with 2 custom built outdoor wood heaters. The main lounge also has a monster 75 TV for your viewing pleasure.

The large grassy lawn was once a tennis court and as you wander around the garden you will see old fruit trees that were once part of a large orchard that the Cora Lynn guests enjoyed, the cockatoos seem to be the main consumers of them now!

There is an edible green garden and our girls Sunday, Mary, Ruby and Big Red are in the chook house and can lay fresh eggs for breakfast…if you’re lucky!

The lower level of the house is currently not in use so your privacy, peace and quiet is assured. Adjacent to the property is an original guest house bungalow that may be occupied but is separately accessed.

Welcome to Scelta (pronounced Shelta derived from the Italian language, meaning Choice).

Why Scelta? We know that choice drives many aspects of our lives and ultimately, how we choose to enjoy our time. Scelta provides an abundance of choice !

Located in one of Lornes most desirable hot spots, you can stroll down the hill to access all that Great Ocean Roads most famous destination has to offer. The beautiful surf beach, cafes/restaurants, playgrounds and the pier are all at your door step. Alternatively, you may choose to go on one of many picturesque bush walks and enjoy the beauty of the national park. For those feeling less energetic, you may wish to read a book outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean or crack open a bottle of red in front of the fireplace. Remember, you should be able to spend your time however you wish on holidays !

Scelta is a comfortable private residence with scenic views of the ocean from every room as well as access to one of two large balconies. It has new modern bedding to sleep 8 people, with an additional sofa bed if required. The top level has a spacious open plan, air conditioned kitchen/family room/meals area and an adjacent balcony with modern outdoor furniture which allows you to seamlessly combine indoor and outdoor entertaining. This level also has access to a spacious powder room, as well as a luxurious master bedroom with a King Size bed, air conditioning, walk in robe and ensuite. Waking up to the serene ocean view will be a sure way to unwind.

The bottom floor has another large family room with an adjoining balcony, which is an ideal separate living zone. This area also has two bedrooms, one with 2 King Single Size Bunk Beds and the other with a comfortable Queen size bed. All rooms have built in wardrobes, air conditioning and access to the balcony. A large bathroom with a bath tub, shower and vanity, as well as a separate toilet and a spacious laundry also provides excellent functionality on this level.

Jackson On The Hill

The best ocean views all the way up the coast to Point Addis are what awaits you in this fantastic holiday property. With a very short walk to the Anglesea Surf Beach which is patrolled in the summer months, local coffee spots or a short walk into the local shops, cliff top walks, river fishing, golfing are but a few of the things on offer. This brand new two storey, four-bedroom, three-bathroom, two lounges holiday home has exactly what the doctor ordered. Upstairs has an open plan kitchen/ lounge/dining area that opens with bi-fold doors to the spacious outdoor decking area. Fairway Views

This immaculate property is nothing but STUNNING. From the moment you enter into the driveway to be greeted by over-sized timber bollards wrapping around chunky sleepers, rocks and native plants you’ll feel at ease. When you enter the property, you get a sense of extravagance, nothing but state of the art fittings and furnishings.

The open -plan living, dining and kitchen area are encased in sun-drenched light, then venture out the bi-fold doors onto the large deck. Its here all the fun happens, local wildlife sit in the trees, kangaroos at the back door and you can walk onto the world renowned Anglesea Golf Course, watch out for flying golf balls!

The king master bedroom is spacious and welcoming with its own en suite. Downstairs is the other sleeping area where again the rooms are surrounded by towering native trees, enough to soothe the soul and send you off to a nightly slumber.

Birdsong

Picture yourself waking to a harmony of native birds and gentle rolling waves. A splash of bright green and yellow catches your eye as you raise your head from the pillow. You adjust your focus through the treetops towards the deep blue ocean. Not 24 hours ago you were stuck in traffic. You must be dreaming!

At Birdsong, this very experience is offered daily, anytime of year and from any room in the house.

Completed in late 2018, Birdsong is a contemporary holiday home where simplicity, warm homely features and nature itself combine to offer its guest a unique coastal experience.

Relatively unassuming on arrival, the architectural design, styling and vistas from within are anything but.

On entry you are greeted by a spacious open plan with lofted ceilings, polished Wormy Chestnut floors and a layout dominated by a variety of eye catching features. The built in dining area, timber panelled island bench and sleek cabinetry are as harmonious as the birds themselves.

The central Neo fireplace, Frame TV and ever so slightly angled north wall only add to the style and class of the main living zone. Every inch is blessed with classic Otway & ocean views with the lounge area spilling onto an impressive elevated deck.

Flanking to the south is the en suited master bedroom. With its own private balcony and pillow top views this would typically cause some debate over who gets to wake up here. This is an argument not needed at Birdsong as all bedrooms have a similar picturesque outlook.

Descending to the lower level, a second and third bedroom await, both with their own privileges. The south room boasts its own spacious deck, with outdoor lounge, couch & TV while the north room captures its own unique views and has close proximity to the main bathroom featuring a free standing bath with views equal to anywhere in the home.

Birdsong is named for a very good reason. It is sited in a peaceful bush location with expansive views across the Wye valley and a nearby reserve where native birds regularly swoop. King Parrots, Rosellas, Kookaburras and many more find their homes in the surrounding treetops and take pleasure in visiting.
