Vantage Point

A high-end architecturally designed home in the quieter part of Lorne, within walking distance of the beach. Perfectly suited for couples, the whole family or large groups (sleeps up to 10), this coastal property maximizes the awe-inspiring ocean views from each room, whilst maintaining its privacy in a bush setting. Featuring high-end facilities and luxurious interiors designed to blend with and complement the natural surrounds, you will not be disappointed with this architectural masterpiece.

On entering the top level you pass through the entrance hall enveloped with ocean views and the surrounding gum trees, and are greeted by the inviting library/study complete with an open fireplace and further ocean views, offering a secluded and quiet getaway to read and relax.

Proceeding down the timber-sculptured staircase you are invited into the open plan dining/living area, kitchen, walk-in pantry, laundry, guest bathroom, bar area and the private master bedroom wing with its expansive walk-in wardrobe/dressing-room and stunning bathroom featuring an ocean view shower and double vanity. The kitchen comes complete with Miele appliances and everything needed for a gourmet retreat. The dining area has an indoor table for 8 and a breakfast bar for 2 with glass bi-fold doors opening directly onto the expansive deck where you can enjoy the complete indoor/outdoor experience. The deck has a discrete enclosed outdoor shower, a large hooded gas BBQ and a designer outdoor setting for up to 10 to dine while taking in the ocean views. The indoor living area has plush couches, a large smart TV/blue ray/Foxtel with a quality surround sound system that can be streamed throughout the house and a large open fireplace.

Now down to the lower level where there are two further bedrooms with large queen size beds, built in robes and a third bedroom with 2 king size bunks beds allowing 4 adults to sleep in comfort. Bauhaus

Positioned within a uniquely narrow corridor of properties nestled between native bushland and the ocean, Bauhaus is a luxurious coastal holiday destination at the quiet end of town. Enjoying breathtaking panoramic views and located a mere 100m from one of Lornes loveliest and quietest beaches, the position alone is enviable.

The home itself is grand. Inside and out. Native landscaped gardens and lush lawns tend to understate the home at street level. Off street parking provides easy access to either level of the house. Entry at ground level has a somewhat Nordic flavour with fine stone work, leather lounges and wood stove, which evidently generates hydronic heating throughout the house supported by electric heating.. Regarded as the second living area, this space is flanked by 3 bedrooms, main bathroom, separate powder room and European laundry. Other features downstairs include TV and upright piano and floor to ceiling glass doors opening up to the front garden.

Upstairs takes everything on offer downstairs literally to the next level. Behold the main living space awash with breathtaking views capturing Lornes iconic highlights including the pier, main beach, Otway forest, township and extending out to the horizon. There is no shortage of lounging potential with 10m of day bed wrapping around the entire front of the living and dining area and nestled at the base of the huge windows looking towards the ocean. A modern chaise lounge adds to the comfort. The warm glow of the open log fire provides further ambiance while triple sliding doors bring the outdoors in and extends the living space even further. Kitchen and dining both occupy this open space with the fully en suited master bedroom, with ocean view, offset to the rear.

Outdoor living is catered for in a variety of ways at Bauhaus. The large rear deck adjoining the kitchen is secluded and sheltered from winds and features a custom built 10 seat outdoor table setting and inbuilt 5-burner stainless steel BBQ. The Grove

Nestled in the picturesque hill side overlooking the township of Lorne and Louttit Bay beyond. This spacious 5 bedroom holiday home has everything needed for a memorable family holiday. Elevated to capture stunning ocean views, yet close enough to the heart of town for a morning stroll for the papers and latte, The Grove is both intimate and convenient all at the same time. Set over three levels with U shaped design, the property has an expansive list of modern creature comforts. Enjoy the large wrap around front deck with glass balustrade taking it all in on those special sunny days, then escape to the protected rear courtyard when the sea breeze kicks in, or, simply kick back by the open fire a simply do nothing.

The Grove, unlike some holiday homes, is functional. The spacious bedrooms will make you want to sleep in, and as for the lounge, well you get the picture. Whilst well appointed, the property is not delicate, it feels homely with wood floors, white panel walls, sand stone feature wall and a lofted ceiling sun drenched open plan living area. Bedrooms are removed from the living spaces in the south wing. Surfside is a delightful beach house within a short walk of the Moggs Creek beach and a few minutes walk to the quality and consistent surf break, The Spot. Featuring new front and rear decks. The upstairs deck has ocean views and has glass balustrading, making it safe for small children. The rear deck is also safe for children and provide fantastic outdoor living! There is also an outside shower, gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. Downstairs has a large room with a queen bed and a set of bunks, ideal teenagers retreat. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and the second with 2 single beds, open plan living/dining and kitchen, bathroom/laundry combined. For families requiring them, there is a portable cot and highchair.

Or if you’ve had enough of the ocean for one day, why not cross your heated tiles to views of Queens Park as you choose which of the rain showers you’ll use today.

For those not lucky enough to sleep in the master bedroom, there is a miniature version of the same luxury on the lower floor, complete with ocean views, private deck entrance, King Bed, heated tiles and rain shower. The remaining two bedrooms provide another King Bed guest room with partial ocean views, and a fourth bedroom that can be utilized for 6 (or 8) guests with Double Bed bunks.
