Perched high on the hill on the edge of the Otway National Park, the Yirrip House exudes luxury, comfort, and a rich history. Take a quick walk to Aireys Inlet's beaches and top spots, then relax in the house’s serene surroundings and lush greenery.

"Yirrip" is Wadawurrung for ironbark trees, and the acre property is abundant with native plants and ironbark trees. This 2-storey renovated house has a history as it was built after one of Australia's worst fires, the 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfires, occured. After that, it served as a home for two families before being renovated as a vacation rental.

This huge and impressive house has a cathedral roofline, floor-to-ceiling windows, ample parking, relaxing multiple living rooms, an upscale dining and kitchen with modern amenities and appliances, lovely decks, balcony, and so much more. It also has Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and multiple TVs. The house has 5 spacious, comfy bedrooms that accommodate up to 10 guests. Bask in the sea breeze and enjoy the countryside views as you relax in this stunning holiday house. Plus, it’s pet-friendly by arrangement!

Living and Entertainment

Yirrip House is a calm haven where you can kick off your shoes and unwind in the tranquil atmosphere. As soon as you arrive, you'll be welcomed by bushes, ironbark trees, and other foliage, giving the house a cosy and welcoming appeal. It also has a charming courtyard with outdoor furniture. You can sit there and cosy up with a blanket and your morning coffee as you enjoy the fresh, cold air in the morning.
The home comes with a split system downstairs modern wood fire and ceiling fan in the main living area, along with a small gas heater and wood fire. The windows and large doors offer cross cooling breezes. During winter mobile heating is available in the bedrooms.

The house has many spaces for lounging and unwinding, so everyone can have their own space to rest or bond. The place has Wi-Fi and multiple TVs throughout the house. As you walk in, there’s a cosy lounging area that faces the outdoors. Inside, there’s an even bigger and more comfortable living room area with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors. Even a small study nook is on the side if you need to get some work done. Even though the property is naturally cool due to the fresh air, it also has split-system air conditioning for your comfort and convenience.

Upstairs, you’ll be impressed with another elegant living room with high ceilings, comfy couches, and a wood burner. It also has massive glass windows so that you won’t miss out on any of the panoramic views outdoors. There is also a balcony with cosy couches, inviting you to lounge.

Walk back inside to enjoy the upscale dining and kitchen areas. Preparing meals will be easy as the kitchen is equipped with modern amenities and equipment. It has a full-sized fridge and freezer, an oven, a microwave, a cooktop, a dishwasher, a pantry, and more.

When you're done lounging inside, head outside for some socialising or a fun BBQ amid the beautiful surroundings. There's another deck with an outdoor dining set that can accommodate a large family and a small fire pit in the front bush garden.
