Great for Large Families!Stacey - 29th April 2019
We had two families (4 adults 5 kids) was just right for us. Everything was as appeared on the website, the location was great, a bonus was the parrots and cockatoos we were able to feed with the provided bird seed, the kids loved it. Handy having tv in every room, everything worked well. Decent price to split between 2 families, worked out quite cheap especially when prices are high waster weekend. We didnt feel crammed in with the 9 of us. Well equipped kitchen and laundry.

Amazing family holiday at Yera. Accommodating host. Comfortable.
Disappointing sorryTraveller - 11th September 2017
Stayed here for two nights for the Surf Coast Century Weekend. Yera is a beach shack on a nice quiet street about 4-5 minutes drive from the beach. Whilst i have grown up with shacks, and don't mind "shack" cleanliness, we felt this place was overpriced and unwelcoming. 1. Linen not provided - which is fine, but if we paid for linen on top of the already pricey rate we would have been able to stay in a 4-5 star hotel. 2. No toilet Paper - at all - in the place, only some empty toilet rolls and past tenants toilet rubbish left in the toilet roll holder, which is just not acceptable. 3. A wood heater is basically the only heating available other than a small panel heater which could barely warm a bedroom let alone the whole place, this would be fine, but we were only given a bag of wet/green un-burnable pine cones and 5 logs (half a days heating) for our entire weekend stay! No kindling, no paper. So we had to scrounge around the neighbourhood in search of wood so that we could heat the place up for the duration of our stay. This was very disappointing, given the 12 degrees maximum temp. 4. A list on the fridge advises all the cleaning we had to do prior to leaving, which made us quite annoyed given the dirty state the place was in when we arrived, Dirty floors, 6 or 7 dirty tea-towels hanging out on the veranda, rubbish in the toilet bin etc etc. 5. The place smelled badly on arrival, kind of like burnt bacon and mustyness. And the back yard was unwelcoming too, other than the attractive birds that sit on the veranda and beg for food. On the bright side, the ladies in the real estate were lovely and very friendly and helpful. If this place was half the price, i would probably retract all the issues above, other than the fact there was no toilet paper and insufficient wood.
