The home itself, while modest at a glance, sprawls its way across multiple levels. Starting ocean side is the main living room, kitchen, dining and deck area. Best described as modern styling meets classic family beach house. Flanking this open plan are two main bedrooms, one with ensuite and European laundry. A further three bedrooms meander their way up the hallway and upstairs to another comfortable living space. This room opens to a protected courtyard area at the rear.
All bedrooms are beautifully furnished with quality Manchester and comfy beds.Features two kings-size double beds, one queen-size double bed, and three sets of single-size double bunks. Perfect for multiple families.
Whitecaps has been renovated with the concept of comfortably accommodating two families in mind. Space to come together or for time apart.
Above all, the location cannot be underestimated. It is indeed the envy of most Lorne holiday makers. One street back from the ocean, protected from the prevailing winds and literally a 5 minute stroll into town.So when you arrive, park your car, and leave your keys in the drawer for the duration of your stay.
Other features include ample off street parking, outdoor shower and surfboard racks, hammock, WiFi, books and games, gas BBQ, Bluetooth sound system and more.
Don't bother coming for a weekend, you will regret it. Stay for as long as you can and make Whitecaps your new home away from home.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Great family home
Vaso M - 30th January 2024A short walk to the Lorne hotel, with only 1 steep section. All who have been to Lorne will know this is a fantastic location. This family home is well suited to 2 families with 2 king sized, 1 queen room and bunk beds for up to 6 kids. Gives you a room to spare for 1 more adult or couple. Well laid out with lots of puzzles, DVDs and storage space for foods and clothes. No pantry items so BYO staples. We go to Lorne every year and really loved this location - we will be back!

Amazing family beach holiday
Lisa S - 28th February 2023This is the second year in a row staying at White Caps and it continued to be amazing. The separate living spaces give the kids and the adults somewhere to socialise, watch tv etc. Two large bathrooms, plenty of beds to cover the adults and kids. The kitchen overlooking the expansive deck and beach is well appointed with everything you need to eat at home. The outdoor shower is fantastic for washing off the sand!

Michele R - 1st August 2022Gorgeous house and location however key details and cleaning were poor. Clumps of dust around beds, dirty handtowel in bathroom, no linen. No extra blankets and no tea towels. For what we paid we were disappointed.
