Unbeatable Value

Having stayed at many holiday rentals at Apollo Bay over the years, the White House is right at the top of the list! Great care has been taken to update this period home with modern conveniences and make it a joy to stay in! However, its location is what sets it above the rest. Walk to Pub or the Brewhouse for dinner, or the fabulous Little Crumb Bakery for breakfast. The Jetty, Beach & Fisherman’s Co Op are an easy walk! At the end of the street are stairs to the surf beach. Highly recommended!

Home away from home

We love this little place! So much so that we keep returning. It is comfortable and cosy and close to town so we can walk everywhere we need to go.

Lovely Getaway

Great location close to main street shops and beach! Loved the fully equip kitchen from chef knives to beautiful serving ware and glasses. Beds were incredibly comfortable with heated mattresses & lots of extra things that just made the stay relaxful. Lots of boardgames, music cds, movies to keep all entertained! Only negative was the shower taps in main bathroom as cold and hot water were calibrated incorrectly so we thought we had no hot water for showers. Overall loved the stay !!

Well appointed, lovely home. With major construction next door

The house was amazing, very comfortable. The fireplace was well used during a Wintery Easter. I have not stayed in a house that was so well appointed, everything you could need we found here. I was disappointed though when collecting the key to be told there was construction next door. We were lucky no work during the public holidays, but the unit block being construction next door started early on the day of check out. This should be being advised well before key collection!

Perfect getaway

This little gem in Apollo Bay is in a perfect location only a stroll to the Main Street and beach. The house is very warming and inviting, a perfect space for a family or a couple. The kitchen is very accomodating to cook a great meal, with an extensive range of kitchen utensils to bring out the inner chef. Great value and definitely worth the stay!

The perfect house for us

We stayed at The White House for a week over Christmas and could not have been happier. There were 5 of us including a 5 year old and the house catered perfectly for all of us. The rooms were well appointed, feeling relaxed and summery, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the location was perfect - we could walk to town, the rock pools, Marengo beach and the fishermans co-op (yum!) Loved the little touches..colouring pens for our daughter, good music for us! Loved it!

The White House

The White House was cosy (Coonawarra wood heater), comfortable & close to everything. Positioned close to the harbour, town centre, golf course & beach. Although the house is close to the road, vehicle noise was not a problem.

A gorgeous place that oozed warmth and character. Excellent location.

Location was second to none - just a few minutes walk to everything in town as well as the beach and a playground. The place was lovely, very comfortable, heaters in every room for cold nights and all linen provided as well as tea/coffee etc. The cookware and kitchen facilities were excellent and we enjoyed a few meals in as well as eating out at some of the fabulous local places. Recommended.

Such a nice house perfect for a weekend away ! And only walking distance into the Main Street. Highly recommend

Good Service Nice Accommodation

Great and stylish spot for a cosy winter break, easy walk to beach and town.

Spacious, homely and well equipped. Beautiful toasty wood heater fantastic for winter stay. Perfect location meters from beach access and town centre. Great walking tracks and lovely views. Older home tastefully renovated, a little cool and drafty but once heaters and fire going it was very comfortable. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return to Apollo bay!

Incredible house, perfect location!

Beautiful house, very comfortable with 2 bathrooms, central fireplace and easy to use kitchen. Easy stroll to town. Would be perfect for couples, groups and families alike.

Family Haven

Cooks will love the well equipped kitchen - all utensils provided. The luxurious claw foot bathtub was perfect to relax in. The location can't be beat - central but quiet, with ocean views from two sides of the house. Walking distance to town and beach. Those traveling with families or small kids should note there are a few knick-knacks to put out of reach, but not too many. No books, toys or DVDs for small kids, so BYO. House was clean but some things a bit run-down and due to be replaced.

Beautiful place and location

This is our 6th visit and I have to say much cleaner than the last stay. The only other thing is the mold on the curtains, walls and ceiling which is a major issue with people having asthma and allergies. Also still quite a lot of dust in the house that has not been attended too. Besides this it is a great place to stay, with walking distance to shops, beach and park.

Great Place To Relax

Perfect few days spent in the cozy White House. This was our 6th stay and as always enjoyed the relax, proximity to all we need and the warm of the fire. Everything was clean and tidy. A great place to kick back and relax.

The Perfect White House

My husband and I LOVED our stay at the White House. We had never been to Apollo Bay before and it was the perfect location. Easy walking distance to town but far enough away to feel like we had our space. Great location to base for the GOR drive. The house was ideal for our needs, we loved the fire place and the being able to see the ocean from the bed was so nice in the mornings. We will be back to stay here again. Getting access to the house was very easy too. We would highly recommend on staying here.

Just Perfect

This was our second visit to The White House. Absolutely perfect location in easy walking distance to harbour, beach, eateries. House is well appointed, cosy and comfortable. Loved the fire and the bath! Highly recommended.
