Absolutely loved our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend away staying at the Treehouse, the owners have absolutely thought of everything, we definitely will stay there again! It is beautiful.

Relaxing outlook

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful serene environment and house was comfortable. We loved deck overlooking bush. Would be nicer if house less cluttered, especially around pool table. Was great to be able to have our dog stay with us.

Great Weekend

We enjoyed a great relaxing weekend at The treehouse. Thoroughly enjoyed the the very comfortable accommodation within peaceful surroundings complete with amazing bush views along with many visits from the local birdlife, just wonderful.

Perfect weekend away

We were very happy with the house and all it offers, including beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Everything was supplied, so there's nothing to do but walk in and relax. Great theatre system, abundance of appliances, books to read, balconies to admire the view. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Quirkily decorated house in the middle of trees

This house would suit a family looking for a homely atmosphere. The surrounding treescape is quiet and offers space and immersion in nature. There is an abundance of seating areas indoors and outside. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small and old-fashioned, downstairs the bathroom has been renovated but the whole place has a tired, cluttered feel. The furniture and plethora of decorative items have clearly been salvaged from a series of garage sales. The showers are scalding or freezing.

Peace and quiet among the gum trees

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Treehouse enjoying the peace and quiet among the gum trees. The house was comfortable and well appointed with plenty of fire wood provided to keep us toasty warm. Great care has been taken to create spaces all throughout the property inside and out to relax and unwind. The garden was fun to explore and our dog enjoyed racing up and down the gully. The birdlife was awesome. We hardly left the house all weekend and will definitely be back!

Magic Happens

We spent a wonderful 10 days at The Treehouse enjoying the natural beauty and abundant wildlife - Koala on arrival whilst being serenaded by Kookaburras was a nice touch. Proper beach getaway.

Treehouse review

Beautiful house in a great location and a stunning outlook. It was a great winter get away. There are a few small maintenance issues that need attending to. The downstairs door was really difficult to open and close as was the ensuite door. The mattresses also need to be replaced as all the springs are gone and a few of the guests have left with a sore back.

The Treehouse made for a great getaway. The house itself was beautiful and the location was even more so, immersed amongst the treetops of Lorne. The kids enjoyed exploring the surroundings and it is definitely somewhere we would come back to.

We loved The Treehouse!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Treehouse! The house has fabulous bush views, a cosy open fire, a great yard with visiting wildlife and everything you need inside. The perfect spot for a relaxing trip away. We will definitely return to this house again!

Treehouse

Wow what can I say we had an amazing stay the house was stunning the amount of room was so good. The out door area is beautiful so relaxing. We celebrated our wedding in lorne and had the great pleasure of coming home to a cosy warm house.

Beautiful spot amongst the trees and bush

We loved the treehouse- we were really amazed at how comfortable and well setup for a holiday this place was ( this place has not lost that charm of what a holiday house used to be) . Big well equipped kitchen to cook in, great lounge area to relax after those days on beach - the overhead projector was a highlight for the kids! Beds super comfy and loads of things to do on rainy days (pool table, games, books, laze on the comfy couches), outside spaces were great , different decks and spots around the garden to take in the Australian bush that surrounds you and quickly forget the bustling and busy Lorne during summer. To top it all off the outdoor bath was an absolute winner. Loved the treehouse and will definitely return

Beautiful setting

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Loved the view of tree tops from the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again! :)

Just lovely

Enjoyed the ambience of the home & all was very tidy & clean. Loved the fire place & wood. Very good set up & unique styled home. Big windows overlooking the woodlands. Lovely

Perfect!

'The Treehouse was very cosy, perfect for our weekend getaway for three couples. There was a BBQ grill, ample seating indoor and outdoor, heating, blankets for the theatre room and even books and DVDs. Location wise, it's a short drive away from the beach and the local shops and cafes. The host even messaged us the day before to give us complimentary 2pm checkout. We went during the Winter season so there was quite a bit of wind and rain. We heard some noises throughout the night, as the accommodation is surrounded by trees, but nothing we couldn't sleep through. We plan go visit again during the Summer!'

Fabulous beach house

Fantastic beach house on the edge of the forest. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. The house is very tastefully set out and has real character and warmth (something that is often missing in a holiday rental). The owners have great taste and have obviously put some effort in to ensure that the house really feels like a holiday home. Rustic, with a real homely feel. Excellent.

Awesome Getaway

We stayed at The Treehouse for Easter. We are a family of 5. We didn’t want to leave. It was just like home, only better. Great to relax and unwind. Loads of space. Location is beautiful. An easy walk down into town. Not so easy walk back. But do able. The pool table with a big hit with the teenagers. Loved it.

Would go back anytime!

The treehouse was a great stay for us during our Easter holidays. It's so close to the beaches and main town shopping strip yet once you are there its feels like a different world. Both indoor and outdoor areas are spacious so we didn't feel crowded. The huge private grounds backs directly into the Ottaway National park, and the wildlife is incredible. Lorne has so much to offer with its fab beaches, nature walks and waterfalls - but we just loved coming back to this peaceful and tranquil place to just relax and unwind with family and friends. We would go back there anytime - a perfect getaway.

Total Relaxation

The Treehouse at Lorne is the perfect city escape. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the smells of the forest and found the house nestled in a secluded location away from the road overlooking the treetops. The house is well equipped with everything needed to both relax and restore and to head out and explore the beauty of the surrounding area. Our favourite features of our stay were the expansive garden and holding plenty of shaded and sunny spots to relax with a book. Also, the huge bath overlooking the bushland and a brilliant kitchen for cooking up homemade breakfasts after an ocean swim to start the day. There is a 'home away from home' feeling to the Treehouse that makes it difficult to leave but when we did we enjoyed the proximity to great cafes, and shops in the town centre and walking trails, waterfalls and beaches only a short drive away. If you are after a retreat that offers peace, space and a fully catered for sanctuary for total relaxation this place is wonderful.
