Description
Welcome to The Bush Block in Aireys Inlet, an amazing place to stay in the perfect beach town. A spacious yet cozy house on a massive bush block with a perfect combination of seclusion and comfort.
This property has now an electric car charging station for guests use.
Located just outside the town limits where the bush takes over, yet still just a short walk to the top shops and weekend market and also an easy walk to the beach and close to coastal and bush walking tracks. Once on the property you'll feel a million miles away from everything other than a very few neighbours and perhaps a couple of kangaroos and maybe the occasional echidna, and of course the local king parrots.
The house has been designed for convenience and comfort and features a utility deck behind the carport with a hot/cold shower and direct access into the laundry. You can also rinse off your beach gear, boards and wetsuits and hang them out to dry.
A spacious living area - lounge, dining, open kitchen and covered outdoor area all open up to become one huge living area. Off this there is a big outdoor deck, a perfect spot to enjoy the sun. There is also a huge wood heater if you are staying in the colder months.
There are 2 large double bedrooms and a full bathroom with a freestanding bath in the main house. And if you feel like some private time, there is a separate lounge area sitting room where you can tune out and read.
The back unit (attached to the main house) has been set up for the kids with their own living space with TV, a bunk room that sleeps 4 and a bathroom.
Pets are welcome, however the property is not fenced so the laundry is a good spot to leave your pet if you are going out.

Linen not provided - BYO Linen is customary on the Surf Coast. Pillows and doonas (with covers) are supplied, but guests should bring their own linen (pillow covers and sheets) and towels. Alternatively, linen and towels can be arranged for an additional cost on request.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Great location but horrible bed
Fiona Caie - 22nd May 2021The house is lovely and in a nice bush block. We had everything we needed. However, hugely disappointed that the master bedroom was locked off. Had no idea this would be the case until we got there and read the manual saying it’s not available to guests. This is despite the listing saying this is not a residential home, it’s a holiday home. Our bed was an uncomfortable cheap IKEA double frame and mattress which was sitting on cardboard at one end (?) Such a shame...
Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. The house is much roomier than it looks in the photos and was wonderful to come back to after days out. The team at Great Ocean Road we’re super accomodating, friendly, responsive—and even lent us an iron at the last-minute to get our clothes ready for a wedding. Highly recommend!
Peaceful house
Brenda Kosa - 24th February 2021Had a good short stay with frequent kangaroo visitors on the back lawn. The house is large and modern, but wasn’t as clean was you would expect, but management were very proactive on acting on feedback once provided. Good sort walk to the general store and easy driving distance to the beach.
A newly built sophisticated Beach House - the cleanliness was a let down
Matt Bills - 6th December 2020The Property - Great Outdoor shower, kitchen is well appointed. Netflix on TV with good wifi. Luxurious sized rooms and great outdoor decks. Beds were rather small and uncomfortable for the money spent. On arrival it was clear the whole house was not cleaned, really disappointing. Location - You feel secluded with only one neighbor next you. A short one min drive ( ten minute walk) to the shops. Food - Mr T for the best brunch, A La Grecque is the best restaurant
Such a cool space!!!! So open yet intimate. I loved my time here, will definitely be planning to go back.
Bush block at Aireys has everything you’ll need for a peaceful stay close to the beach. The house is beautiful and spacious and well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen. Our dogs loved sniffing around in the bushy garden. The house is warm and the beds are comfy. We’ll definitely be back!
