Excellent, clean, comfortable and stylish property

We loved our time at the Blue House. The beds were so comfy, house very tastefully decorated, plenty of room, big backyard and amazing deck for lazing on with a morning coffee. The property was very clean and having linen provided was fantastic. It pretty much had everything we needed. Great for the kids and a short walk to the beach. We would love to stay here again and would recommend this property to others. An excellent property in beautiful Apollo Bay!

Easy 5-8 minute walk to cafes , restaurants, supermarkets. Enjoyed everything about the accommodation (except having to hire the linen).

Lovely family base

Thank you for a lovely stay. The house was exactly what we needed for our first family holiday, and provided a great launching point for jaunts to the beach, the playground and the shops. Our baby and 3 year old slept well in their rooms and the house was child safe and toasty warm in the mornings thanks to the reverse cycle. We would probably pay the cleaning fee next time to speed up our departure, and would have liked the option of hot clothes washing but will definitely book with GOR again.

Great house, clean, had everything we needed (minus linen and towels) and kitchen was well equipped. Great location. Quite, nice deck to relax on and very close to the beach and town The staff from GOR were very friendly and helpful to deal with. The late check out was much appreciated I feel that GOR needs to modernise some of their business processes. Byo linen, bath towels, tea towels shouldn't be a thing anymore. Nor should text messages about putting bins out on the street and potentially incuring a fine if we don't. We found this to be a bit hostile. None of this was a deal breaker, just added some frustration to the stay.

Easy to walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to town centre. Nice house to visit with kids.

Our stay at the Blue house

The Blue house was perfect for our weekend stay at Apollo Bay. A short stroll to the beach and Township. The house was well appointed and clean.

Easy, clean and bright home.

Great house. Clean and bright. Front deck is great. Back yard good too. Easy stroll to beach or town. Comfortable furnishings..beds are great. Probably needs champagne glasses and if we were to stay longer we would require WiFi. Thanks for a great mini break.

A home away from home

As a family of five, (three kids aged 8,10 and 12) we were pleasantly surprised to find the Blue House to be a relaxing, well fitted out, mod con home that proved to be very welcoming and comfortable. Little things like, blue-tooth stereo, games for kids, beach goods carrier, a good little selection of kids dvd's, a nice split air conditioner and well thought out bathroom were just a few things to name. The Blue House exceeded our expectations. The only two things that could be improved (and this was pushing for ideas) was having blue dish cloths available for washing and wiping down tables and getting the head of the vacuum fixed (i.e. wasn't turning). Onto other things, the Blue House was just a 5 minute stroll away from the beach and 10 minute stroll to the centre of town. We really enjoyed the walk, looking at the mountains, etc. Overall we were extremely pleased with the experience.Thank you...we will be back!

Cute beach house

Cute house away from the hustle of town and close to the beach. We stayed over Easter so was nice not to be near town. The house has undergone a basic renovation to modernise a classic beach shack. House and furniture was comfy enough just lacked a few finer things. Ie. Only one fry pan and no saucepans. Small cheap tv with a terrible remote. The house was clean but could clearly see it was a quick clean as corners were missed and a dirty towel left. Cleaning staff need a higher attention to detail. Overall a small nice beach house to stay at which offers a great location to walk everywhere.
