Built in the early 1920s accommodating weary travelers as a bed and breakfast, this charming weatherboard guest house now opens all its doors to the public as a beach side holiday rental. The property has recently been fully refurbished. Modern features now abound including multiple living areas, indoor and out, stylish furnishings and renovated bathrooms. The property is perfectly positioned right in the heart of town. The Beach House guests are treated to the front row conveniences of being able to walk to all major town attractions including beach, pool, surf club, cinema and of course all the cosmopolitan shops and restaurants.

Upstairs 5 well appointed bedrooms are accessed off one main hallway, all sharing two main bathrooms at rear. The front end of the top level includes separate TV room, kitchen and dining area, both with fantastic views towards the Aireys Inlet Lighthouse. A further 6th bedroom doubles as a second living area or kids retreat. Externally accessed, this fully en-suited room contains day beds, bean bags, 30 TV & DVD, table & chairs, a true escape for the little ones. Wifi is available.

Other features include separate kitchenette and bar fridge, breakfast bar in kitchen, fully fenced outdoor BBQ area, great selection of Games, movies & books and undercover off street parking.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Lovely Lorne

House was perfectly located a short distance from the main strip. Ample parking for our group. The house was ok with 4 bathrooms, 5 toilets and adequate seating for all. However a few observations to improve the holiday rental. 1. Outdoor furniture at rear of house was dangerous and tacky, with duct tape holding some chairs together. 2. Mould in the bottom shower was ingrained. Not a good look. 3. Mats in house were stained and beyond their use by. But stay was very enjoyable despite this!

What's Not to Love

We are a large, extended family and stayed at this property last January. It was perfect. On no occasion did we have to use the car. It's close to everything. At other properties, we've found that the fridge logistics were challenging - but not here, there are TWO refrigerators! The kitchen had everything we needed. (There was no 'eating out' for us)! Can't wait to return to make more, magic memories. jane

The Beach House was amazing, so close to the beach, shops, restaurants (fab little Mexican restaurant right next door!). It was very clean, great views, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a meal at home, beds were v. comfortable. Just a great place to stay, would highly recommend.

This property is in a top location, short walk to shops, and basically on the main street with ocean views. The house is a great set up for a group booking. would definitely look to stay here again.

Wow! Outrageously awesome house to stay, so grand. We had a group of 5 mums and 5 teenage boys - The beach house was the perfect location on all accounts! The house itself is spacious (we hardly saw the boys!) and it was so wonderful to be walking distance to the beach and all the cafes. The decor was wonderfully thought out and there were enough bathrooms for 10+ people. We already have plans to come back ;) I'ver also really enjoyed booking with GORH. They've been so accommodating, warm and welcoming. I will be booking through them each time we head to the coast now!

5 families under one roof!

Great place to stay with a large group. Convenient to all the amenities of Lorne including the playground, beach, walks and shops/restaurants. Ample facilities for 5 families- good size bedrooms, multiple toilets and bathrooms, laundry, entertainment, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Booking and key pick up/drop off was simple. Highly recommended.

Great place for relaxing holiday with family. Only down side was noise levels from street and Verandah was a little dodgy. Our family enjoyed the break away.

We had a great weekend with a few families and this was helped a great deal because this fantastic house. It is lovely, nicely decorated, it had everything we needed and is in a fantastic location. It is really big, with enough room to accommodate everyone and give everyone space, but it is still cosy. Adults and kids alike had a wonderful time. Thanks.
