It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Jodie A - 1st April 2024You can not find a better location than the swing bridge house. It was lovely to see some improvements with the fresh paint. For the money you pay, you do expect a little more. The oven door does not close and has not done for over 3 years.

Jodie A - 11th April 2023Overall we love this house. It is the perfect location for my elderly parents. Easy walking distance to everything. Only a few small negatives. The property could do with a real good clean from top to bottom. The septic has overflowed on a few visits we have had. Front steps are very slippery when wet. Bedding is in need of being replaced.

LOVELY VIEWS OF THE OCEAN
Hans G - 20th March 2022We had a lovely 3 days in Lorne. Always a beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the house. There is a canvas roof cover over the barbeque - it was bulging with wet leaves and debris and unfortunately was hanging precariously over our heads as well as dripping on us while barbequing. The main bedroom has a very uncomfortable mattress, otherwise it was a functional place to stay.

So disappointed
Sharon L - 31st January 2021Our family has stayed at Swingbridge several times over the past decade. On this visit we were so disappointed. It wasn't properly cleaned and so many things were either dirty or in need of repair or maintenance. We won't return and cannot recommend it.

Oven had to have chair against it to keep door closed. Deck and sliding doors to deck rotting Great WM dryer and Wifi. Crockery nearly all chipped. Until renovated wouldnt go back
