Ideal for a couple or family, this house is only a 5 minutes’ walk away from the start of the Great Ocean Road Walk, the Marengo Beach/Reef and the Marengo Nature Reserve. Or a 20 minute walk along the beach or bike path to the restaurants and cafes of Apollo Bay. Staying at Surfers Delight gives you the opportunity to kick back and unwind while, listening to and watching, the waves over Marengo beach, along with enjoying a relaxing meal at the outdoor breakfast bar. Alternately enjoy a game of tennis table, watch your favourite movie on the smart TV or simply catch up on the reading you’ve been putting off all year. You may also get the opportunity to meet our resident koala who lives in the Eucalypt tree at the front of the property. Whether you are a keen surfer, bike rider, bush walker, swimmer or just love the quiet life. This property has it all for you.

Janet Meuronen - 24th June 2022Shhh! Don’t tell anyone but this is a fantastic place to stay. Beautifully updated and roomy, close to beach, well appointed and clearly well looked after, you really couldn’t ask for much more. Oh, by the way, the view from the deck is simply divine.

The house is very well looked after - since our last visit the kitchen and bathroom have been refurbished. The ocean views are stunning. It is very, very good value. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Anna Mallett - 7th February 2022Wonderful stay at this light and airy property. Perfect location, minutes walk to Marengo beach and Great Ocean Walk, and very short drive to Apollo Bay. Great view from the balcony, lovely comfortable space with all the conveniences in the kitchen, air con (although with the sea breeze - you may not need it!), great TV with all the on demand networks and downstairs games area a bonus table tennis and TV for kids. Really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be returning.

Ideal family holiday home
Mandy - 11th January 2019An ideal family holiday home with stunning views across Marengo beach and the Otways. Our teenage boys loved the table tennis table and the ability to check out the surf from the upstairs living area and balcony. From the balcony you can relax and soak up the sea breeze. The home is very comfortable, clean and tidy with an excellent range of books and DVD's. It is a very short stroll to the Marengo beach and the amazing rock platforms and Great Ocean Walk. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovingly decorated and well maintained holiday home,
a wonderful family retreat
kim - 13th March 2018we are a family of with 4 kids. everyone of us enjoyed the peace of this home, was like a great beach bach. it was comfortable, relxed atmosphere and the view was amazing. it was clean and tidy, loved the games room retreat (maybe needs a console for playing). easy to get to the beach, either the reef or sandy shores. its great with the 2 decks to get away for the sun or into it. we will be back
