Relax and enjoy the views across to the Erskine River escarpment from the front porch and catch ocean glimpses from the living area and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The property has had ongoing improvements with modern features such as polished wood floors, reverse cycle air conditioning and flat screen TV. All features aside, Lornes Sur La Mer is all about the location. Rarely do you find a place in Lorne that you can park and walk everywhere- the beach, the supermarket, restaurants and bars. If you want utmost flexibility, comfort and affordability, Sur La Mer is for you.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Very pleasant stay
John M - 5th February 2024Our bed was comnfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were in great condition. As previously noted, the house is close to the beach, shops and main street. The two main bedrooms are closer than some romantic couples may appreciate but since it was just the two of us, there were no complaints. This house reminded me in a good way of stays in Lorne in decades past but don;t think for a moment that there is anything dated or wrong. It has everything you could need for a nice holiday!

Lovely place to stay
Beth M - 24th March 2022We enjoyed staying in this cute little weatherboard cottage within close walking distance to the beach and shops. The beds were very comfortable, furniture great for relaxing and the kitchen well stocked with crockery, cutlery and all we needed. We used the bbq and outdoor setting on a warm night. The stove top (electric) could do with updating but worked for the meals we prepared. The shower is over a bath which was difficult for an elderly family member. We would definitely stay again.
Old style beach house with modern touches
Luke M - 19th December 2021Staying at Clissold St bought back memories of childhood beach holidays in the 1970s. Wooden floors, mats, bunk beds, wood heater and 2 minutes from the water and 1 minute from the shops. But, warm, with extra heating when needed, the best and biggest hot water system ever, good stove, big frig, clean BBQ, lovely outdoor area and possibly the best sunroom in Lorne. A testament to the owners who have really put some thought in to making Sur La Mer a delightful place to stay

Great location and comfortable
Janine - 25th January 2019Thankyou for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday. The beds are so comfy and everything we needed was provided and to a pleasantly satisfying standard/quality. We loved how the bedrooms can open up to the main rooms - so light and bright. We also loved being close to everything and not having to drive. Hopefully our next stay is longer than a week - we really were settled in :)
