Description

Nestled into the hillside in a central yet peaceful precinct of Lorne, Strathlea is a delightful renovated 3-bedroom beach home. Only a short stroll to the beach and shops, the home features all your modern comforts with an air of simplicity and elegance.

Three bedrooms and one main bathroom flank a open plan living space that spills onto a spacious deck area. Both the main bedroom and living zones bask in natural light and take in some impressive treetop views. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lend a hand inviting the outside in and vice versa when the conditions suit.

Unlike so many parts of Lorne, the location does not require a testing walk home. Days are easily spent bouncing in and out of town or for those with an appetite for pure relaxation, simply rotating between sun lounge and the couch is for you.

Other features include Samsung Smart TV, Wifi, sound bar and Bluetooth speaker, reverse cycle air-conditioning, a gas BBQ, outdoor umbrella and much more.

Great little house beautiful views

THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE A LAUNDRY!

We stayed at Strathlea for 2 weeks for school holidays. It’s small for what you pay for - more like a 3 bedroom apartment, one level with one bathroom. The main issue is there is no laundry - no washing machine or dryer for 2 weeks! This was not mentioned in the house description. It was up to me to notice it wasn’t listed as a feature. Overall the place is very cosy and updated. The outdoor deck is great with beautiful views of the ocean. Please update the listing to be more transparent.
