St John can comfortably accommodate one large or two small families, St John comprises 3 bedrooms upstairs, all flanking the main open plan living area boasting spectacular floor to ceiling windows, polished wood floors, open fire and balcony access. Venturing outside and downstairs via landscaped gardens is a semi self-contained 4th bedroom. Designed to serve as much as a second living/games room as it is functional as the fourth bedroom, this space is a genuine holiday asset. Custom built day bed, pool table, wall mounted TV, full en suite bathroom, kitchenette and sun lounge with sofa bed all combine to afford guests a place for separation or coming together.
Other features in include ample off street parking & single undercover carport, Bose mini sound, pull down shade awnings, gas BBQ and Air Conditioning.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

St John gives the best of all worlds.
The house sits proud on the hill at the top of Lorne. From the wrap around deck, we overlooked not just the town and beaches, but the whole bay and reserve. There was always something happening, always something to watch; hours just passed by and brought that unmistakable, relaxed holiday feeling.
The house is exquisitely furnished, and only recently completed. All tastefully done, and everything we needed had been thought of, but we really appreciated those little touches that make a holiday: The long forgotten board games that we used to play as kids; Books and magazines; The wireless speaker for everyone's competing playlists. We just moved right in and didn't put the TV on once.
Then there's the den below the main living areas. Separate but joined. Pool table or quiet space. It was good for children escaping adults, or adults escaping kids. Self- contained with sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom facilities.
It was blissful.

Wintry Getaway.
ActiveFamilyof4 - 21st June 2018Our two boys were entertained for hours in the fresh air and enchanting garden whilst we were able to relax and enjoy the stunning views. Close to everything, a well equiped kitchen, a pool table and lots of sunny spots for plenty of family time. The perfect location for a wintry getaway.
Perfect weekend
LongWeekenders - 22nd October 2017St John was perfect for our long weekend with two couples - beautiful views and the fireplace is perfect for lounging around. The house has been thoughtfully and sympathetically renovated, retaining the old beach house charm, but with modern touches (including a well-supplied kitchen and beautiful quality linens). Highly recommend.

Personal Retreat
Katrina - 31st January 2017We spent five great days at St John. The property is really well equipped, incredibly comfortable and lacking for nothing. Every need was anticipated, from quality linen, great crockery, comfortable couches and enough space for every age group to enjoy the house. The deck was great for dinner and the view never failed to delight. Being so high was also an advantage in that you felt separate from the business of Lorne, the trees gave the house great privacy and a sense of your own personal retreat. The teen retreat downstairs was perfect and again fitted out with lovely furnishings and a pool table. We enjoyed out stay and will definitely be back.
