Welcome to SEA-SHELL – a delightful family holiday house within walking distance to all Aireys has to offer. Downstairs has 3 queen bedrooms, ensuite and main bathroom. The 4th room is a bunk room with two sets of bunks, a couch, TV, DVD and has reverse cycle air con/heating and has access to the rear garden area. Upstairs is open plan with reverse cycle air con/heating and a combustion heater and a powder room. The pool table will provide endless entertainment or there is a big screen TV for those who don’t indulge in playing pool. The upstairs deck is large enough for the whole family to enjoy a BBQ in the summer months or soak up the morning sun with a coffee in the milder winter months. Downstairs is a sheltered courtyard with a table and chairs – maybe a place to escape with the morning paper or a book. Whatever the season, SEA-SHELL will provide a memorable family holiday.

Just a few general words about the property.
It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Our two families loved our long weekend at Seashell (Airey's Inlet) staying at Seashell. A mix of teens and smaller children were equally comfortable, amused and made great use of the spacious two level home, as did the 4 adults with plenty of room for all. The cold mid year stay was negated easily by the wood heater in the upstairs living area with an abundance of readily available fire wood. Close to shops, cafe's, beach and great walks, including the popular lighthouse, helped fill the four days all to quickly. Ripper place, ripper weekend. We'll be back.

We loved this beach house as it had room for everyone and the kids were kept busy in the bunk room. The balcony was fantastic for breakfast or an after beach drink, you could even see the ocean! The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable for two families. The location is also great, being able to walk to the shops or cliff walk and a short drive to Fairhaven beach. We will definitely be back!
Our stay at SEA SHELLS with Great Ocean Road was quite upsetting and disappointing. Before arriving to the property we were asked to pay a secure bond of $1,000AUD because they kept insisting they were anxious we were going to damage the property just because we're a group booking and my guests are in the 20s...All their replies were via phone and not Airbnb thus nothing was noted in writing (for our security). As they asked us to do it over the phone via card which I felt was unreasonable as Airbnb already holds a $1,000AUD bond with them, I transferred $1,000AUD to them via the Airbnb platform to have it in writing. When we arrived at the property it was dirty, there had been leftover food and the bins were full with trash that had been there for a while. There was dog hair around and the house smelt. The cleaning lady arrived later and it was getting late and the guests were to arrive soon so I had ended up cleaning the house with her because I wasn't going to make the guests do it. The experience was quite upsetting as they challenged us to pay $1,000AUD upfront otherwise they were going to cancel our booking and it was always spoken about over the phone not via Airbnb. After all that back and forth we arrived to a property that was dirty and unsanitary, and I had to help the lady clean because she had family to go home to as it was getting late and my guests were to arrive soon. Marilyn the lady who I was in contact with always called and never communicated via this platform which I thought was odd, when we arrived at the office she didn't speak with me after all that back and forth over the phone and simply kept her back to me, and from the arrival onwards they started to communicate over Airbnb so they didn't have to speak verbally with us which I found so unprofessional, because it seemed that they were asking for money over the phone and not via Airbnb and when they didn't want to deal with us, just left it in writing. Overall I feel this was handled very poorly on Great Ocean Roads Real Estate's side, and the reservation was made very stressful, when it didn't need to be. I have made many Airbnb bookings and have references on my profile, am responsible and was demanded money for this property just because I'm in my 20s (and late so to speak!). The place was left much cleaner than what we found it in.
Great spot for a family getaway with plenty of useful spaces and activities to keep everyone entertained.
