Why Scelta? We know that choice drives many aspects of our lives and ultimately, how we choose to enjoy our time. Scelta provides an abundance of choice !
Located in one of Lornes most desirable hot spots, you can stroll down the hill to access all that Great Ocean Roads most famous destination has to offer. The beautiful surf beach, cafes/restaurants, playgrounds and the pier are all at your door step. Alternatively, you may choose to go on one of many picturesque bush walks and enjoy the beauty of the national park. For those feeling less energetic, you may wish to read a book outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean or crack open a bottle of red in front of the fireplace. Remember, you should be able to spend your time however you wish on holidays !
Scelta is a comfortable private residence with scenic views of the ocean from every room as well as access to one of two large balconies. It has new modern bedding to sleep 8 people, with an additional sofa bed if required. The top level has a spacious open plan, air conditioned kitchen/family room/meals area and an adjacent balcony with modern outdoor furniture which allows you to seamlessly combine indoor and outdoor entertaining. This level also has access to a spacious powder room, as well as a luxurious master bedroom with a King Size bed, air conditioning, walk in robe and ensuite. Waking up to the serene ocean view will be a sure way to unwind.
The bottom floor has another large family room with an adjoining balcony, which is an ideal separate living zone. This area also has two bedrooms, one with 2 King Single Size Bunk Beds and the other with a comfortable Queen size bed. All rooms have built in wardrobes, air conditioning and access to the balcony. A large bathroom with a bath tub, shower and vanity, as well as a separate toilet and a spacious laundry also provides excellent functionality on this level.
Scelta is ideal for either an adult or family getaway and will be sure not to disappoint!

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

It has a very positive vibe and the setting is just stunning. The walk up hill was hard on the older people in our group but totally worth it.

Sarah - 17th April 2019We had a brilliant stay here with the extended family 3 generations under the one roof and the dual living zones both indoor and outdoor meant heaps of space for everyone. The house is fantastic, spotless and well equipped, and the views are breathtaking. My kids loved the visits on the deck from the cockatoos and kookaburras, and the koala in the distant gum! Hails - 9th August 2018Everything you need right at your finger tips, particularly enjoyed the magical views while lazing in front of the fire & the walking tracks through the National park suit all levels. Great location, walking distance to the main street of Lorne. The house is spacious (plenty of room for 2 families) spotlessly presented with all the modern requirements. Great value escape will definitely book again!!

Tash - 27th October 2017We had such a relaxing weekend break at this beautiful holiday house. On arrival we were impressed with how spotless the house was. It is extremely well equipped with great attention to detail. It is tastefully decorated and there is enough space for a couple of families as there is a well appointed kitchen, two separate living areas and large laundry. We loved sitting on the deck or in the lounge room with a glass of wine looking out at the amazing views and enjoying the tranquil environment. In the evening we relaxed in front of the open fire (there are also reverse cycle air conditioners throughout which are perfect for warming the house in winter and keeping it cool in summer). The garden brings many beautiful birds to the tree tops and can be easily viewed from the deck (which is virtually at canopy height). The two storey house is clean, modern, comfortable and is in a lovely quiet setting. We liked that the house is close to the National Park and we went on a couple of good walks on the walking tracks. It is also a short walk to the shops. We would highly recommend Scelta.
