Great location

Great location - big apartment - few minor things need to be addressed though, no toiletries, no basics like tea or coffee - wifi was poor and TV didnt work for half the channels. For the nightly rate this isn't right. But to be fair I'd hire it again if these minor things were addressed.

Outstanding View & Location

I have to agree with previous reviews that the furniture is very tired and in need of a good clean at a minimum. However the view and the convenience of walking to everything makes up for it. The apartment is large, the kitchen is spacious with excellent facilities, even though it did take 10 minutes reading the manual to figure out how to turn on the oven. Nice and quiet at night and with the sound of the waves as you sit with your wine at the end of the day it's great.

Unbelievable location!

Awesome Stay. Apartment a little bit dated but hardly a factor when you see the views and enjoy the location. Great time had by all.

Really great location, walking distance from the beach. Neat and well maintained!

but in need of updating

As the shower was over the bath, grab rails are needed. Poor TV reception indicated the need for a booster and better aerial. It was quite an expectation for a 74 year old to carry the gas bottle from downstairs to the balcony and connect to BBQ. More appropriate crockery, adequate cutlery and oven mitts are needed.

Superb apartment, location and view!

We loved every minute of our stay in this apartment. It was spacious, beautiful and had everything that we needed. The location was incredible and nothing could beat the balcony or that view. We wish that we never had to leave, cannot wait to return.

Almost Perfect

We love this apartment. It suits us on so many levels and the view alone is an experience. If the TV reception could be fixed (we were not able to watch any TV due to poor or no reception) and if the bunk could be made more sturdy, it would be the perfect Lorne experience. Kind regards, George

I would not stay here again

This property needs some money spent on it, the carpet,the couch liked tired and grubby and the sliding fly wire screens had large holes in them. The master bedroom is big enough for a king bed yet doesn’t have one? Sun lounges can stack but only 1 is available. The photo showed outdoor timber chairs with backs but the decking had only old uncomfortable benches instead. The tv reception is poor. Location and space was amazing. But let down was a little dirty. Tv reception was terrible as most channels didn’t work and also the split systems chose when they did and didn’t want to work. Need an upgrade I would’ve thought. Also literally no coffee or tea at the bare minimum which would added a nice touch of something. For the price I would expect quite a bit more. Lucky for the view

Great location and well placed in a busy street. Cleanliness may be an issue as well as communication but overall a pleasant getaway.

Delightful

A very delightful place on the 2nd storey with a beautiful ocean view. I love the spacious living room where my young children (age 2 & 4) could comfortably play and run around. Having a BBQ meal on the verandah while watching the sun set over the waters and enjoying the cool autumn breeze was the highlight of the stay. The place was neat and tidy and very welcoming. Toilets are clean and spacious. The master bedroom even has a small walk-in closet which leads to the toilet. I also like how theres a separate room for laundry (with a sink, washing machine and dryer). The only minor inconvenience was that we had to carry several heavy luggage up the stairs. But I guess its worth it for the view! My whole family loved the place and we hope to be back again some day!

Great view of Lorne Beach

Great view with easy access to all local amenities. Comfy bed. Only negative was a strange loud compressor sound that turned on for a few minutes every half hour which was annoying at bed time.

Great Location

Great location, deck was the highlight. The living area and kitchen were fantastic. Two of the bedrooms were great. The third bedroom had a bunk bed which was rickety and the mattress' were very uncomfortable. Regardless of the third bedroom being uncomfortable we would defiantly stay here again but would only come with another couple. Would use the third bedroom for family and friends that might drop in for a night not a week.

Great location

Very comfortable. Such a great location - it certainly is 'central beachfront!. It was so nice not to have to get in the car each time we wanted to go out. This property is great for two couples, as the third bedroom has bunks. A couple of things were missing from the apartment but the agency fixed that up for us super quick. I would re-book.

Great little apartment

Great location right in the centre of town. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable and a great deck with a beautiful view of the foreshore. Only critism would be the showers-as many other reviewers have commented, in a nutshell they suck. Would be great if owners did a little work to improve the flow/pressure/comfort of them. Shampoo and conditioner as well as cooking oil, salt etc just the basics would have been handy too.

Great place to have a relaxing holiday. Amazing ocean views, best spot on the main street and spacious interiors with lots of sunlight. We have stayed at many apartments on the great ocean road and this one by far beats the rest. Only dissapointed that the oven and dishwasher were not working.

Location jackpot

Amazing place to stay, exactly like the pictures and would definitely go back! The location is right on the beach, spacious enough for my family of 4 plus 2 friends. Only downsides is 2 of the 3 bedrooms dont have aircon, only fans so its quite muggy in there. Also the place has no Wi-Fi.

Fantastic View Of The Beach!

Brought my family to Lorne during their visit to Melbourne. Great location as it was our first time there and it was just a perfect spot where all the cafes, restaurants, and local pubs are. Very convenient place with a fantastic view to the beach! My siblings loved the cockatoos that came to visit us every morning, especially my dad haha. We all loved it! Best for taking photos without have to go to sanctuary! Absolutely loved it. Will definitely go back there in summer time and will definitely recommend it to you all! Don't miss out!!

Great property for views and location. Property in the main was tidy and clean but could do with a good go over ... Not ideal for little kids as stairs has no way of being secured.
