Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect; great views, a short walk to the general store and pub, clean, modern appliances that work and a log fire (inc. wood) to die for. Couldn’t have asked for a better property.

Ocean Views

Ocean Magic is all that. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Wye river and to have that beautiful decking area overlooking the ocean was all but worth it. Fire was on all week and just magical. 2min walk to gen store was awesome. Kids loved it although lockdown 4.0 made us depart early. We will definitely be back

Amazing property with a view to die for. Really well equipped house, and with a massive sunny (dog friendly!) deck. Short walk to the beach, general store and pub. Had a fantastic week and look forward to the next stay. The only negative was a miscommunication about check out time,but that’s just human error. Will be back...

What a wonderful place to stay! What amazing views! We have really enjoyed our time here - it's been so relaxing. We've appreciated the wood fire on these cold nights - thank you for the generous supply of firewood. Everything is so well set up and so clean - it is an absolute delight to stay here! Ocean Magic certainly lived up to its name. A brilliant location and stunning views over the beach and ocean. The wood fire kept us warm and cosy. Furniture was really comfy and kitchen had everything we needed. Certainly recommend Ocean Magic. We’ll definitely be back.

Ocean Magic is exactly that "Magic". It is in a great location within a short walk to the general store, hotel & beach. The house is well equipped for self catering and is suitable for a quiet get away for a couple or family and friends groups of up 6 people. Dealing with Great Ocean Road Real Estate was very easy from the time we booked until we left. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Beach House

Ocean Magic was the perfect beach house for a family holiday - fur babies were welcome, the beach and pub were a short walk even for little legs, and the view was spectacular

What a fantastic property this is. The views are stunning overlooking Wye Beach. It's a short stroll to the pub and local general store/cafe. The property is fully stocked with everything you could think of. This one ticked all the boxes!

A gorgeous place to stay!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The view was awesome. The house was well equipped from the kitchen to the extra blankets and the cleaning equipment. Hearing and seeing the birdlife, the crashing sound of the waves was incredible. I could not stop staring out the window, even on a rainy day we were happy to just relax and chill in this beautiful home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Believe in the magic

From the moment you make your way up the long treelined driveway to Ocean Magic, you know youre heading to something special. This house is perfect! The view is truly magical. To one side you feel like youre sitting within a famous bush painting with tall native trees and colourful Australian birds and then to the other you have beautiful ocean views. At night you feel like you could almost touch the stars. This truly is a place where the bush meets the beach and magic happens.Great Ocean Road Real Estate were wonderful to deal with from the start. So friendly and always happy to help. The owners of the property also made us feel very welcome with a lovely card, a welcome bottle of wine and lots of consideration for what a comfortable visit might need. The living area and kitchen were comfortable, modern and had everything you could think of. And, that beautiful seating area near the window, that was most definitely our favourite spot to sit and completely relax any time we had a chance. Our kids loved using the telescope to assess the waves, how many kids were on the beach and watch birds and other things going on around us. The house is a short 3-minute walk from the caf/store and local pub which are all sensational. We loved being able to lunch at the caf while the kids played in the playground and then regularly stepped up from the beach to the pub for a drink, gelati or meal. No matter where you turn, everyone in Wye River is super friendly it feels like a world of its own. We loved this visit and have rated it as one of our family favourites. Thank you Ocean Magic for sprinkling your magic on our family summer holiday!

Priceless View!

This well designed and spacious house is the perfect beach meets bush getaway. It has a priceless view of the ocean and lots of outdoor space to relax & entertain on. The hosts left a clean and well stocked house with everything from a fire place to a dvd collection to keep us entertained when we were at the beach. Will defined stay there again when next in the area!

We had a wonderful time during our one week stay at Ocean Magic over the school holidays. The house is in a great location close to the general store, beach and hotel. It is beautifully furnished and is very comfortable. The other highlight is the magnificent oven view. We won’t hesitate to book again if we are heading back to Wye River.

Ocean Magic is a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and well appointed with a great deck out front to take in the fantastic view. The bathroom is luxurious with a huge rainhead shower. Lovely Views

The house itself and the location were fantastic. The Sulfur crested cockatoos we’re welcome guests. However there were a few minor issues with how the property was managed. There was limited toilet paper and no dish washing liquid. Laundry had to be ordered extra and what we received didn’t match what we had asked for. Also we were informed after we had returned the keys that we could have a later check out time free of charge which would have been nice to know earlier since we rushed to get out of there by 10am.

Enjoy the Serenity

Best ocean view. Stayed in for 5 nights and happily cooked in a modern kitchen and absorbed the serenity while we dined. Slept to the of the sounds of the waves. Bathroom is also a delight. Will return.

Fantastic views

We stayed at the end of Nov 2015 and this was our 3rd return visit to this property. It has a fantastic deck that gives brilliant views straight down onto the Wye Beach. It is also perfect as it is such a short walk from the house down to the water. Location wise it is one of Wye Rivers best. Will be back.
