Welcome to Nunyara - a very comfortable beach house in a fantastic location.
Nunyara is an old family beach house. Built in the sixties it hasn’t changed much, although its owners are in the process of upgrading it.
The facilities are basic but a recent update inside makes it an easy house to stay in for a simple, relaxed family holiday.
There’s no television, a feature which reflects a long household tradition of “getting away from it all” to spend much valued time with friends and family. There are board games for the evenings, a rambling garden to explore, and king parrots to feed. Steppy beach is just across the road so there’s heaps of screen free fun to be had.
There is wifi if you want to watch movies on your devices.
This comfortable 3 bedroom beach house is located on the ocean side of the Great Ocean Road. A short walk to the steppe beach, cliff top walks, shops and lighthouse.
Open plan kitchen/living and dining. Reverse cycle to keep you cool in the summer and nice and toastie in the winter. There is also an open fire place. Well equipped kitchen. There is a furnished outdoor deck area and a BBQ. This house is pet friendly and is fully fenced.
It is all on one level and two of the bedrooms have Queen beds and and one has a trio bunk and a double. The property sleeps up to 9 people.
Best local swimming is at Sunnymede beach, it’s dog friendly and is flatter with less current at high tide than Steppy below the house, or Sandy gully. Steppy is safest at low tide but it’s very rocky at the moment.
If you want to drive to safe but busier beaches Point Roadknight is lovely and Fair haven is patrolled.
There are dog restrictions on most beaches till Feb 28.
If you need a holiday where you can park the car and walk to all amenities then this is the right property.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
