Macelsham

Julie H - 19th January 2024

Great house for a large group. Outdoor area is perfect with a terrific view. Hot water runs out very quickly, does not last long enough for all 10 people to have a shower. Ends on the beds makes them unsuitable for taller people. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Hi Julie, Thank you for sharing how your stay was. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the hot water. However, we are delighted to know you enjoyed the overall stay. It has been a pleasure hosting you!

4 night stay

Darryl L - 11th December 2023

Great place for our family group. Double and single beds are always annoying when they have a bed end for a few of us over 6’4. Lots of stairs and on a very steep hill to town. Squashed 4 of 5 cars onsite. Overall suited our purpose very well with nice views and living areas. All enjoyed the house. Very dog friendly. Collingwood AFL ornaments were depressing, LOL.

This house is perfect for a larger group. Great layout and terrific views. It's our second time and we love it.

Absolutely everything you could want

Jo S - 25th February 2021

What a fabulous house with amazing views! Perfect for our large family and 2 small dogs (very secure yard). The two decks were brilliant and plenty of space for everyone. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. If you are not wanting to drive to the beach the walk back up the hill is pretty challenging even for those who are fit! The very tall men in our family found the shower a bit of a tight squeeze, but these are very minor points.

Great break!

Amazing views!

Dorota - 26th February 2020

Oh wow! Macelsham property has delivered the most stunning views available in Lorne, in my opinion. We stayed there over the weekend and it was so lovely waking up and seeing the ocean right in front of us. The whole house is bathed in light and it has everything anyone would need when on holidays. Definitely highly recommended!

Fantastic Stay

Andrew - 20th December 2019

We had a great stay in this house. Very big property with good sized rooms and living areas. Fantastic location to main town

Perfect for our dogs

Dorota - 1st August 2019

Really enjoyed our stay at Macelsham house, the house was spotless and the views were amazing. We also had magpies, kookaburras and king parrots visit us on the upper deck. The backyard is not large but is securely fenced and was perfect for our dogs. The walk to the beach is steep but the location was great for walking to Teddys Lookout and bush walks around Queens Park.

Amazing!

Sandra - 15th July 2019

We had a wonderful weekend away. The double living areas suited us perfectly. The bedrooms are well resourced and even though it was winter we weren't feeling the cold. Perfect place for families. Location allows for a beautiful walk to the pier and main strip. Only thing I would recommend is to update the stove as it made cooking meals cumbersome. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Fantastic House!

Alisa - 26th February 2019

Great house, we had a weekend. Our first morning while having our breakfast on the top deck we got a suprise visit from a very friendly kookaburra, 2 rosellas, a cockatoo and 2 magpies very entertaining kids loved it. House was very clean and well looked after. Beautiful home that accommodated out large family, much thanks to the owwners for allowing our last minute stay. Would love to visit again hopefully for longer next time, so much to do and see.
