Good location..average house.
Sinead Gray - 29th April 2022We love the location, easily accessible walks to beach and into Apollo bay township. The house itself needs some maintenance..door knobs falling off, lights not working outside. The house is also freezing in the bedrooms, they did provide one small oil heater, but the 3 rooms that didn’t have heaters were icy. The house is also very dark, even with curtains opened..the lights are just so dim. Also would of been nice for some matches to be left for the stove top.

Abulfazil Qureishi - 14th April 2022It supposed to be 5 bedrooms but it was actually 4 ! The house smelled really bad ! Washing machine and dryer didn’t work properly.since the weather is cold now there wasn’t much blankets in the house , so overall I don’t recommend it tbh :/
Great Place for a family holiday
John Purnell late checkout - 15th July 2021Had a great time at Lochy's Rest, a couple of minor things: we couldn't find a can opener in the kitchen drawers, the firewood was a bit damp (dry red gum is best). Other than that it was most enjoyable, in what is a lovely part of the world.

Sally - 1st February 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely well set up to accommodate two families, and the two living spaces provided entertainment for all. Excellent location with easy access to the beach. Loved the feeding platform for the native birds.

Susie - 19th April 2017We had a lovely stay in the house over Easter with another family. The children had such fun in one lounge room while the adults could chat away in the other. The kitchen is large and very well appointed with all the basics needed to cook a hearty meal. The balcony welcomes King Parrots which are a delight to watch. The beds are all comfy although the two couches in the downstairs lounge room are pretty saggy. The garage downstairs was great to park in, shut the roller door and keep little kids safe. There is even an air hockey table and table tennis in there. We were appreciative that the empty gas bottle was changed in a matter of hours (on Easter Sunday!) and that we were able to have late checkout. This was our third stay and we hope to have a forth in the future.
