This was a lovely home to stay at, open and bright with windows all around. The view over the verandah was beautiful. It was clean and presented really well for my stay. Just the heating was an issue for me. I found the reverse cycle heater almost totally ineffective. To arrive at 8pm on a 6deg night and walk into a cold house and feel really cold until the wood fire was burning well the next day was my only disappointment. A great house for summer it would be for me personally!
Five of us (two couples and teenager) stayed here over Easter 2018 with our dog. The house was spacious and kitchen really well equipped. We walked most places so the location suited us for this time of year. In summer i would probably use the car more to get to the beach. The yard was fabulous for the dog - large and secure. I would recommend this house for a comfortable self-catering holiday with the bonus of being able to take your furry friend.
Lovely house with thoughtful touchesRaine
My family and I spent a week prior and during the Christmas period of 2017 in this house. We found it very comfortable, extremely clean and thoughtfully equipped by the owners. The little touches like a store of hand towels and ample toilet paper in the bathrooms/toilets was greatly appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped, although the fridge for a family of six over Christmas was a little tight. The outdoor area was really nice and well fenced for our dogs. Perhaps the steel balcony at the front of the house could have a coat of paint which would bring the front of the house up to the standard of the interior. Could not fault the inside of the house at all and the spacious feeling was enjoyed by us all. The only thing I would comment on would be that the description on this page be more comprehensive with a full listing of what great things are in the house. We needed WIFI (my daughter has to take her work everywhere she goes) and there was no mention of it on the page. When I asked the agent I was told there was none. This mean my daughter had to get a dongle from her work which was not needed, as, when we got to the house there was WIFI. Also there was no mention of Air/Con which is a really important detail in the summer. Again the agent told me there was no air/con only to find there was. Perhaps the agent and the owner can get together and make a true list of what is there. Anyway, as commented earlier, the whole experience was lovely and my family and I thank-you very much. regards Raine and family
