The soft external rendering, modest entry and surrounding bush landscape give away very little on arrival. Stepping onto the upper balcony Kiara reveals herself as a spacious charming and somewhat chic renovated beach home. The oversized deck boasting ocean and treetop views, serves as entry point to the main open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
Timber floors and ceiling, full length windows, soft contemporary furnishings and simple artworks combine to create a warm relaxed environment.
Split level and overlooking this space are three double bedrooms, one fully en suited and a main bathroom. All bedrooms are well appointed and offer plenty of space to spread out. A timber staircase descends the main living room to the lower level. A second living room, three further bedrooms, main bathroom and powder room reveal themselves in true tardis fashion.
While vehicle access is off Polwarth road, foot traffic has a direct line into town via steps that run beside Kiara. Other key features include a second deck area downstairs, open fireplace, WiFi access, Telstra TV, Sonos sound, Meile appliances, split system heating and cooling in both living rooms, multiple decks with outdoor furniture & WebberQ. Yes, it is quiet a list!

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

We had a wonderful comfortable stay with a big group in this warm lovely house. Beautiful views, great amenities, great location comfortable beds.
Great locations, great views and plenty of bedrooms and living space. Lack of amenities so make sure to bring your own towels. Also a lack of games but there plenty of appliances. Make sure you have a 4wd otherwise your car will struggle to get up and down the driveway safely.

This house has many bedrooms and the bathrooms are good. The kitchen is outdated and tight on space. The deck needs maintenance and the outdoor furniture needs repair or replacement as it is broken in many places. The view from the house is lovely. It is a short convenient walk to town. The biggest drawback with this property is the steep driveway which caused many issues even with 4WD's. The owners boat was parked on the flat driveway, leaving little room for safe parking.

Perfect property for 2 families, floor plan great for separate adults/kids zones. Fantastic deck with sweeping views. Steep driveway similar to most Lorne properties, difficult to locate initially, tucked away. Would have liked access to a hose, but otherwise, the property had everything we needed. Great location. Comfortable beds. We plan to return.

Great property for a beach getaway at one of the best beaches in the world. 3 minute walk to main st, 4 minutes to the beach. Great for up to 3 families with amazing views!

This property had all the modern conveniences and was superbly located on a short walk to the Main Street. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were contemporary and the main living area and outdoor deck presented a wonderful open plan to entertain. Plenty of room for 12 people and heaps of car parking. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other.

We stayed at Kiara for 5 nights and could not have asked for a better home or location. Kiara is beautifully furnished and offers 2 living spaces (with air conditioning) to relax and enjoy family banter! The deck offers a huge umbrella that shaded many a meal, allowing us to enjoy the view and the wildlife. One koala in particular kept the children very entertained. We'll book it again for sure. I understand why people enjoy Lorne so much!

Kiara has a fantastic floor plan that allowed for children downstairs and adults upstairs, which made for a peaceful break. Pleasantly surprised by the location, didnt need to use the car at all. Easy walk to main street, beach and supermarket. All modern appliances and an open fireplace. We will return.

We stayed in Kiara on a sunny but cold weekend in Lorne. The fireplace was great to cosy up and the kids loved the Apple TV. A big plus for the artwork, it adds to feel of the home and it was just right for us. We noted the comment made about the driveway, but we had no problems with it. Will be back for sure!

This is an upmarket property that is lacking some upmarket maintenance. It manages to accommodate five couples, but there isn't much space for children (a single bedroom with two beds and bunks that can't be used). We were disappointed with the poor state of the outdoor areas and terrified by the driveway! The beds are good and the Miele appliances are a nice touch. It is close to town, but you need strong legs to make the climb back home. Make sure you do it in daylight as there is no lighting. This is fairly expensive accommodation that needs a few finishing touches to warrant the additional cost.
