Description
This comfortable three-bedroom beach house has stunning views of the sea and the Kennett River Beach that can be enjoyed from the open plan kitchen/living and dining area.
A large deck that extends across the front of the house is perfect for catching the all day sun or for enjoying a family BBQ on the Webber. Large gum trees at the front and back of the property are home to the resident koalas, parrots and kookaburras. An expansive grassy area at the front of the property is perfect for the kids summer games. Wake early to watch the sun rise over the sea from the two front bedrooms. At night star gaze or watch the car lights as they snake along the Great Ocean Road from the comfortable lounge area. In whale watching season you may be lucky enough to see a pod cruise by close to the Kennett River outlet.
It is only a five-minute walk to the beach, which is perfect for surfing or swimming between the flags in summer. On the way to the beach you will pass by the Kennett River Store so you can pick up the morning papers or sample the pizza at night.
Kennett Bach is a little gem where the ocean meets the forest.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Nice, cosy place with a view
David F - 18th November 2022We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean house. Comfortable house. And many things provided for the house so that we didn’t have to leave to grab anything. Lovely view of the water from inside but also on the large deck. Plenty of friendly birds around that like to say hi. Also saw kangaroos and koalas just outside the house. Would recommend this place. The only real improvement I could recommend would be the addition of wifi and maybe a coffee table for the lounge. But a lovely place none the less.

A down-to-earth but very comfortable and well-located house where you can truly get away from it all. The view is amazing, the beds comfortable, the wood-fired stove very cozy and efficient, and the kitchen has everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the birdlife and other wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas. Our queries and requests were dealt with promptly and generously.

Tim M - 8th May 2022This is a lovely Bach to stay in with a well stocked kitchen, huge balcony and beautiful ocean view. Not sure why the last reviewer was so critical, but I wouldn’t agree at all with them. The decor and furnishings are stylish and modern, the place was really clean and the fireplace was so cosy. The Bach is a cute 70s retro mixed with updated kitchen and furniture. Lots of cockatoos, king parrots and kangaroos to watch. Note there is no ac or heaters, just the fireplace.Would love to stay again!

Stephen O - 1st May 20221. Floors very dusty especially the lounge area 2. House is outdated and really needs a new lease of life for the price – bathroom, toilet and kitchen 3. Entrance via laundry…!!! 4. House tap water out of the tanks is brown. I have tank water at home and is 100% clear. Yes found the bottled water in the pantry 2nd day. 5. Balcony boards need clean and recoat 6. Blinds in bedroom do not block out the morning light enough 7. Only 1 fire starter we were there 2 nights. Not a problem for me but f
Birds eye view
Mike H - 6th October 2020Amazing location for getting in touch with nature. Surrounded by birds in the blue gums, grunting koala's nearby, kangaroo's on the lawn; and then there is the ocean. The ever changing seascape drawing your eyes to the horizon, slowing you down, bringing you into the moment. We watched whales cruising around, saw dolphins herding fish, and gannets making the most of the opportunity. Good for the soul to see a thriving environment. Caught some fun waves also. No better place to spend my 50th!

DJT145 - 28th January 2020Wow, this is such a wonderful location- beach close by, wildlife at our doorstep, the mountains and Otways a short drive. The house is surprisingly spacious, well appointed and in a quiet location. The views and sounds of crashing waves lend an instant calm. We were amazed at how many koalas we spotted - our record in one day was 20! We will be back!

Beautifully appointed; all our needs are met, with books and games, coffee & BBQ, comfortable beds and a well organised kitchen... all within a short distance to the most spectacular beach in the Otways!

Lots of wildlife around with koalas, many birds and even kangaroos in the evenings. The deck is great and the house has everything you need, including a very well equipped kitchen for a holiday house. Hope to return again soon!

Domi - 6th March 2018Bright, clean, lots of nice little details, amasing ocean view, full a wildlife, parrots and Kukaburra on the balcony, koalas and kangooroos on the property. Dinnerware and glasses matching and modern. Large balcony with dining table and sofas for coffee and afternoon drinks!
