Lornes newest and most impressive collection of self-contained beach front apartments. Completed in December 2019 under the guidance of well-known local architect Lachlan Shepperd, each apartment has been meticulously designed, renovated, furnished and finally styled.
Features such as wool carpeted bedrooms, MCM house designer furniture, hand laid mosaics, polished timber floors, pendant lighting & Belling Ovens are just the beginning.
Located in arguably the best beachfront location in town, all apartments (excluding studio) take in spectacular ocean views from the decks and open plan living rooms. Central to all shops and amenities, and directly opposite the Lorne Sea Baths precinct, the Joy Apartments leave little to be desired when it comes to ease of access. Everything is truly at your fingertips.
The complex consists of 2 two-bedroom apartments on level one, 2 split level 3-bedroom apartments and one studio. All fully self-contained and all accessible via a central hallway with keypad access.
Both three-bedroom apartments have single lock up garages with 2-bedroom apartments allocated a laneway park. Smith Street adjacent to the rear offers all day parking within a stones throw.
Other features include Wifi throughout, smart TVs, gas BBQs and laundry facilities. Double glazed windows ensure sound proofing from street.

Just a few general words about the property.
It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

The location is second to none! We had some issues with the fridge in the room, but to the hosts credit it was fixed promptly. Would definitely return again.
$1000 for 3 nights to feel like I was staying in a jail cell. Super depressing stay. No cooking utilities. No Parking space allocated for the apartment. No bath. 1 small window with no view. Can hear all the other guests snoring. No Ventilation. Ceiling fan is poor for keeping the room cool in hot weather. Could have stayed at a 5 star hotel for cheaper and better facilities.
The room is very tiny, a studio apartment. Unfortunately there was no wardrobe to hand clothes or appropriate space to store bags etc. The bed was very uncomfortable, no support and sank in the middle of the mattress. Only window for natural light was tiny window above kitchen, which we kept open to let some fresh air in as there’s no aircon. We had a big dog bark on and off our entire stay. I wasn’t satisfied for the amount of money we paid.
Was overall a great stay, but people aren't joking when they say it is noisy, in fact they've sugar coated it. Pretty much anytime the upper apartments close a door, walk, speak, turn their water on etc. you will hear it and if you're a light sleeper that will be a problem. Don't get me wrong though you're paying for the location, perfect spot and the room itself was also great. Just be warned the noise won't be for everyone :)
Good accomodation, clean, new and well kept, right in the heart of Lorne. However, not a happy camper since we had to cut our trip short because the bed was crooked and left me in pain. I hope the owners fix this so people can enjoy their stay in this nice accomodation.
Great place to stay! Right in the middle of Lorne, the best spot to enjoy the night life! Quite noisy but to be expected on the Main Street. Beautiful decor and space. All round had a great stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Great little getaway
Great beach front spot, close to everything in Lorne all within walking distance. There is a construction going on downstairs so can get noisy at times, very little sound proofing between the other apartments so that can be noisy at times aswell.
Cute little space for a weekend getaway. Great location and very clean! Very on trend styling and feel. Only down side was the noise from upstairs and neighbours not water service. Was very difficult to get to sleep if you’re a light sleeper would not recommend. Great central location though. Suited us great for a weekend away!
