Welcome to Joy Apartment 3!

The Joy Apartment complex is Lornes newest and most impressive collection of self-contained beach front apartments. Completed in December 2019 under the guidance of well-known local architect Lachlan Shepperd, each apartment has been meticulously designed, renovated, furnished and finally styled.

Features such as wool carpeted bedrooms, MCM house designer furniture, hand laid mosaics, polished timber floors, pendant lighting & Belling Ovens are just the beginning.

Located in arguably the best beachfront location in town, all apartments (excluding studio) take in spectacular ocean views from the decks and open plan living rooms. Central to all shops and amenities, and directly opposite the Lorne Sea Baths precinct, the Joy Apartments leave little to be desired when it comes to ease of access. Everything is truly at your fingertips.

The complex consists of 2 two-bedroom apartments on level one, 2 split level 3-bedroom apartments and one studio. All fully self-contained and all accessible via a central hallway with keypad access.

Both three-bedroom apartments have single lock up garages with 2-bedroom apartments allocated a laneway park. Smith Street adjacent to the rear offers all day parking within a stones throw.

Other features include Wifi throughout, smart TVs, gas BBQs and laundry facilities. Double glazed windows ensure sound proofing from street.

Joy Apartment Three

Apartment three is located on the North side of the upper level adjacent to apartment 4. The apartment can be interconnected with apartment 4 on request. This apartment includes lock up single garage.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Amazing apartment in fantastic location, let down by poor cleaning and maintenance

Arrived to find the following all of which were disappointing: Cleaning: BBQ was covered in grease and food, external BBQ covered in cobwebs. Obviously not inspected/cleaned. Main bathroom sink was blocked due to matted hair and gunge in the plughole, which could be easily removed for cleaning. Previous occupants clothes were in the closet Maintenance: Downstairs toilet fan was not working External light on deck was hanging by electrical cord as screws had become detached All reported 4/1/2022

Spacious, Modern Apartment in a Great Location

We loved our stay in this 3 bedroom apartment, amazing views over the beach, very spacious living area and kitchen, well equipped, although the iron and ironing board were missing and could do with another sofa seeing as it sleeps 6. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, and very convenient location above the shops in the Main Street. Highly recommend.

It’s hard to fault this apartment - brand new, spacious living area (It’s huge actually), large balcony overlooking the beach, double garage, lovely fresh feel and perfectly located. It pretty much ticks all the boxes and we’ll be back again.
