The Joy Apartment complex is Lornes newest and most impressive collection of self-contained beach front apartments. Completed in December 2019 under the guidance of well-known local architect Lachlan Shepperd, each apartment has been meticulously designed, renovated, furnished and finally styled.
Features such as wool carpeted bedrooms, MCM house designer furniture, hand laid mosaics, polished timber floors, pendant lighting & Belling Ovens are just the beginning.
Located in arguably the best beachfront location in town, all apartments (excluding studio) take in spectacular ocean views from the decks and open plan living rooms. Central to all shops and amenities, and directly opposite the Lorne Sea Baths precinct, the Joy Apartments leave little to be desired when it comes to ease of access. Everything is truly at your fingertips.
The complex consists of 2 two-bedroom apartments on level one, 2 split level 3-bedroom apartments and one studio. All fully self-contained and all accessible via a central hallway with keypad access.
Both three-bedroom apartments have single lock up garages with 2-bedroom apartments allocated a laneway park. Smith Street adjacent to the rear offer all day parking within a stones throw.
Other features include Wifi throughout, smart TVs, gas BBQs and laundry facilities. Double glazed windows ensure sound proofing from street.

Apartment two is located on the southside of the lower level adjacent to apartment 1. This apartment does not include parking.

Just a few general words about the property.
It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Fantastic accommodation, however could hear everything from the apartment directly above. The noise was relentless from taps running, foot steps, to the balcony sliding door open and shut all night. If you like to sleep, avoid the bottom apartments at all costs.

The best location. Great room proportions. Decor is delightful. Simply wonderful. As other reviews have said you need to bring almost everything. Only the very basics in terms of condiments. Also parking for this unit was a problem which isn't for other apartments in this block ut which the owner rectified.

From the moment we opened the front door and looked down the long wide hallway to the stunning ocean, we were so impressed with Joy Apartment 2. The coastal decor is beautiful throughout and the combined dining / lounge / kitchen was a perfect spot for our family, but the highlight is definitely the oversized balcony with BBQ and full ocean views. The location also meant that we could walk everywhere. Such a perfect spot. We will be back.

This apartment is newly refurbished with tasteful fixtures and fittings, lovely decor, very centrally located and a beautiful view. Only minor drawback was the timber floor lacks some soundproofing and we found the noise from upstairs carries into this apartment.

This place is beautifully fitted out and well located right on the Main Street. The main living area is spacious and gorgeous and couldn't be better. If you don't mind having to share an ensuite sized bathroom for two bedrooms, it will be perfect for your needs
