Thoughtful hosts have provided everything you might need. Property has chill vibes and the veiws are second to none. Easy walk to the beach, cafe and pub. Amazing bird life to enjoy and the kids will have fun feeding. Whole family really loved staying at this property.

Fantastic beac house

Our family of 4 loved Jacks Place. It had everything we needed, and was perfectly located, close to beach, the pub and the general store. The garden was great for kids to play. Well be back!

Cute Little Place!

Stayed here with family over a weekend. Cute little place, very homely and welcoming. Beautiful living area with big open glass overlooking the ocean. Birds visit all day every day. Two good sized bedrooms, third bedroom with bunks is very small. Fire was stoked ready to light on arrival, binoculars to check out the surfers, lots of thoughtful things around this house, and easy walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay here on a babymoon with our 3 year old and new baby coming soon. Loved the floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the house so you can sit on either deck depending on the sun / wind and enjoy both the beach and valley views. There were plenty of feathered visitors in the lovely well-cared for garden and our little girl enjoyed exploring amongst the fruit and nut trees. We have stayed in a few different properties in Wye River before and really enjoyed the location of this one. Being three mins walk from the beach and cafe and 2 mins from the pub meant we could ditch the car and potter around on foot. We were so relaxed at the end of five days we didnt want to leave. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would love to come again.

We had a fantastic mini break here at jacks place. The space was absolutely wonderful with a breathtaking view and a roaring fireplace. It was the ideal setup for two couples and a great selection of board games. I would highly recommend to anyone

The best.

We've stayed at many houses in Wye River and this one is our favourite. We stayed over the Easter break 2019 and loved everything about it. The view is fantastic, it's an easy walk to the beach, the back garden is sweet and the set up is perfect. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

House was perfect!

The hospitality was spot on and the view was spectacular. The property is within walking distance of the pub, beach, cafe and general store. The bedrooms were a little confined, but overall the house was easily accessible for anyone with a disability or small children

Exactly what we were looking for.

Sitting in a lovely comfortable home watching the waves roll in was exactly what out family were searching for in our stay. Everything was so close - coffee, general store, pub, beach, surf, beauty, wildlife, garden, not forgetting the gorgeous tree out the front. Thank you for opening your house out to us, we loved our stay.

Incredible ocean views

Perfect

Second time at Jacks Place and just a good as the first. Clean, Comfortable, the BEST location in Wye with stunning views. Spent lots of time watching the surfers from the deck and sitting by the well-equipped indoor fire warming up. The bedrooms are compact but the great living/dining space makes up for it.

Perfect Family Escape

Second time we've stayed at Jacks Place and hopefully not the last. The views are amazing and you can spend hours sitting in front of the fire while watching the waves crash in. The backyards just as fascinating with kookaburras, king parrots, rosellas and galas all waiting for you to feed them while you cook on the bbq. Walking distance to the beach, pub & cafe making it one of our favorite holiday destinations. You will get Telstra reception, but not Optus . . . . but this was a good thing to relax and get back to nature.

Great compact house with views

This place is ALL about the views and it is worth compromising on space just a little to enjoy it. Having said that, the only real compromise we found was that the space in the bedrooms and clothes storage space was a little smaller than we were expecting. But if you are planning on living in bathers and beach clothes it'll be totally fine. The living space and kitchen was absolutely perfect, with plenty of comfy seating to make the most of the views and to watch the abundant birdlife play in the water baths and nibble on seed. There was even a fire for those drizzly days when you just have to stay inside and play any of the abundant games or watch a favourite movie (but bring your own DVDs) on the TV. The house is also and easy stroll down the hill to the pub or the General store where you will get AMAZING brunch and lunch fare (we ate there twice in 2 days). The beach is then just across the road and has great rocks to ramble over at low tide as well as a patrolled beach (in season). We also grabbed some fish & chips from Kennett river for dinner one night and were pretty happy with the quality of the flathead and very crispy chips. We'd definitely stay again if ever we are back down that way, especially if we were travelling on our own or with family or good friends.

A beautiful little house!

We loved our stay at “Jacks Place”. We arrived at the property to discover a great little place with beautiful view across Wye River. Incredibly clean and perfectly presented, this house was perfect for a family of five. Beds were super comfortable, wild life and small grass areas and climbing tree kept the kids entertained outside and an endless cupboard full of family games for the rainy days. We loved the historical photos and story about the house and especially loved the kids “Wye River bushfire on Christmas Day” book- very moving! Just a stroll to the beach, pub and cafe we will definitely book again! X felicity & Shane

Highly recommend it.

Fantastic home, its walkable to the pub and general store yet secluded enough to have kookaburras and koalas around the property. There's also crimson rosellas and king parrots that you hand feed in the backyard. The home has a beautiful view and well stocked with coffee/tea and wood for the fire. Great stay and highly recommend it for a family with kids and will hopefully return again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jacks Place. The house was exactly as it was featured, the location is perfect for various walking track access and to stroll down to the beach, general store and pub. The owner was generous with everyday supplies and the view is spectacular. Looking forward to coming back again!

We had a lovely stay. Very clean, very comfortable and very well appointed property. Easy access to the store, pub and beach, all within 2mins walk. Lots of lovely walks in the nearby area. Would book again, great for a summer or winter holiday, would be great with kids too.
