Fantastic Holiday House for 2 families
Fiona S - 6th October 2022We absolutely loved our stay. We were 2 families holidaying together and the house was well suited to our needs. There were 2 living areas and a spacious deck so we all had space to relax or play. There are 3 TVs so we could all watch whatever we wanted. My husband & I had the best sleep we have had in years, the beds were super comfy. Going to sleep with the sound of the ocean and waking up to the birds - just magic! Will definitely stay again, highly recommended.
Highly disappointed
Mary B - 12th September 2022Didn't meet many basic needs, no heating, TV didn't work, no soap, no manuals, oversees call centre
The place had great view but it was a damp house! Given the price, they should have left the A/C on to help with the odor/damp in the house, the Fridge was off on arrival as well so it took a while to get to the temperature, there was barely any toilet paper provided, which was a bit disappointing, it would almost cost nothing to supply that anyway. The linen had to be booked at extra cost of $25 per person, which makes the stay even more expensive.
Great location, great views we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and light and airy.
Great holiday rental
Gillian S - 4th January 2021We love this property. It has wonderful views and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Lorne. Place was as described and well appointed. Great views and a nice quiet street. It is a few blocks away from the main street up a steep hill so we found it easier to drive into town as it is a challenging walk with young children.
The house is very well appointed and was perfect in these colder months to bunker down and enjoy the fantastic views from the balcony. A short, although a little steep, walk in to town once we found the secret path!
Disappointed
Tara - 7th March 2020My family and I plus another family stayed in this home over the last week, we were all very disappointed. The downstairs area is advertised to have a pool table which is one of the reasons we rented this home, well we couldnt play as there was no pool cue tips, there was one pool cue tip but it was on a kids pool cue and was still a chipped pool cue tip. The down stairs area, again a main reason we rented this home was for the second lounge area for the kids but we couldnt be down stairs as it smelt so bad of mould and dampness, it was hard to breathe. The views were amazing and it was in a good location and the kids loved the spa bath.
Fantastic!
Diane - 16th December 2019We had a great stay. The location is awesome as is the beautiful uninterrupted view onto the ocean. Lovely welcome gesture on arrival, the house is well equipped and very user friendly. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
Perfect holiday house
Rhys - 29th October 2019Perfect holiday house with a young family. Everything provided to keep the children occupied and safe. Will visit again in the near future
Disappointing
mpmr - 8th October 2019Good location; as with most places in Lorne, be prepared for walking the hills. The property was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Significant dust, cob webs, ant hills, etc. throughout. Had to reach out to the office to request light bulbs (as many were missing and/or burnt out.) There was no "house guide" onsite to help figure out various aspects of the property. For example, the washing machine was quite old and not intuitive. After several calls/texts, eventually just got lucky pushing various buttons until it started. The master bedroom had a broken window shade, so unable to cover a large window. Shame on us for not noticing in the house description that the fireplace does not work. When we saw the fireplace positioned so prominently in the listing photos, we didn't think to look to verify that it actually functioned. The entire place was quite worn. With local property management, I was expecting a lot more attention to detail. All of these items could have easily been noted and addressed by a simple walk through prior to our arrival.
Stunning view !
mahir - 12th April 2016we stayed for 5 nights and didnt have any problems. balcony was great. thank you
BEAUTIFUL VIEW
LMR - 1st February 2016Our family of 4 adults had a lovely 10 day stay, the house has everything you need and more. We have stayed in several different places in Lorne and this is our new favourite. Everyone agreed it was worth the walk up the hill. The balcony is a fantastic size for enjoying the view or enjoying a meal.
Fabulous Views

Amanda - 14th September 2015A fantastic family getaway. This property has everything you need for a family or group. The views are sensational and the downstairs rumpus room was a real hit with our children. We will definitely be coming back.
