Great Base Camp
Peter McDonald - 11th September 2023Stayed here with a mixed group to take part in a weekend bike ride starting and finishing in Lorne. This house was perfect with large bedrooms for all and two bathrooms to share. It was very clean and uncluttered with all we needed to cook and eat at home as well as wash and dry bike gear after a wet and muddy day one. Being pet friendly was a bonus, and the extra late checkout allowed us to shower after the ride before driving home. A great 'base camp' for Team Wallis!
Wow, your review made our day, Peter! It motivates us to do more. It has been an absolute pleasure hosting and serving you.

Stunning bushland location
Elizabeth Robertson - 23rd January 2023birdlife galore, good space for little kids, clean and cosy
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for rating us. We are so pleased to know that you had a great time and we look forward to your next visit!
Disappointing
Sharon Mayne - 6th March 2022The house appears to be advertised as double story however, is 1 apartment upstairs, 1 downstairs which we realised upon arrival. The apartment is roomy and clean, for the price we'd have expected air con but only a couple of fans. There were no basic provisions eg: tea, coffee bags and very minimal toilet rolls, no rubbish bags for bins. The house smells musty and pillows and doona's smelt of mould and a damp feel. Good location but very big hills if you plan to walk. Disappointed this time.
Our arrival was seamless but little things throughout our stay contributed to an average outcome. We had a couple of situations throughout our stay that significantly affected our stay and should have been managed better, both during and after. Unsatisfactory supplies of basic provisions such as bin liners, loo roll, etc. The place itself is comfortable. But overall our experience could have been better.
Fantastic house, beds were comfy, lots of room and great trampoline. Would 100% stay again.
Good views, good communication and a quiet location
Great spot
Very clean, quiet and comfortable stay.
