As the crow flies Foster is very close to town. An easy stroll in and good effort on the way home. The reward for effort is Foster itself.
The landscaping alone is enough to inspire but check out the back yard. Soaring gums and pristine Otway National Park. Step onto the deck and behold a spacious, in fact full width of the home balcony taking in beautiful East facing ocean views. All this and you have not even stepped inside.
Classic open plan at one end, two spacious bedrooms at the other and bathroom/laundry in between. What makes the inside special is the attention to detail. Foster is not a modern masterpiece but you could for a moment believe you were in the Hampton’s. Bright living spaces with modern kitchen and renovated bathroom. The open fire will ensure cosy while reverse cycle air condition will take care of cool. Bedrooms are not palatial yet they both feel that little bit luxurious.
Foster is a simple home that has clearly been cared for and loved. Perfect for romantic couples, or a small family, the owners welcome those with a appreciation for the ocean and forest, and for their beachside escape.

Great location and viewSteve
Great place for a break, far enough out of town to be peaceful but close enough for easy access to shops and beach.
Excellent place to stayIzgi
This is an excellent place to stay. Great amenities and really comfortable. The only issue is that its quite a hike up a steephill from the town. With a couple of older people we found we needed to drive when going into town. But apart from that its a really good spot. Nice and airy and bright. Losts of room and comfortable.
Definitely staying againAdam
'Fantastic house! Amazing views and a lovely quiet location which is a quick walk down into the main st. Will be definitely staying here again!
Great location close to supermarket and Lorne town centre. Fantastic ocean views huge deck private bushland setting and lots of birdlife. Perfect getaway for a couple or family
Perfect for relaxation!Meredith
Views of the ocean from the bush. Just lovely, with everything we needed. Would recommend for sure.
Comfortable and stylishJulie
Super house with a great deck overlooking the bay with plenty of visiting wildlife, a very friendly Kookaburra was our favourite. House very comfortable and stylish. Great views to the ocean but a good climb up the hill if you decide to walk. Would definitely stay again
This house has everythingLeanne
This property is lovely. We stayed for a long weekend and the house had everything we could possibly have needed, including visits from birds and koalas. The beds were very comfortable and made with fresh linen. When the weather got cold we enjoyed a few drinks in front of the open fire. The outdoor living area is great to sit out and enjoy the sunshine and view. I will definitely come again. Thank you
Lovely relaxing stay amongst the trees at the top of the hill
This house was exactly what we were after at lorne, presented immaculate, had everything we needed as a family of 4, amazing views and wildlife being in the hills of lorne! Would definitely stay again.
Great little hidden property close by to the beach and shopping strip! Everything’s in working condition. Lots of natural light coming in making the house warm and cosy. Would have been great if linen was provided and some more tea towels/a cloth to wipe down the benches/toilet paper.
We are a family of four and stayed for two weeks holiday in Lorne at this lovely house. It is far enough from the main street to get daily visits from kookaburra, King parrots, Rosellas and the occasional koala and has views of the ocean so ideal for the whole Lorne experience. The house itself is beautifully clean, bright and well appointed with parking for two cars underneath a large open deck facing the sea. The weather was very hot during our stay in January but air-conditioning meant this was not a problem. We would definitely stay again. Loved it!.
