The recent addition of a spacious second living zone/games area has only increased the ability of Fern House to cater for the whole family.
Upon entry, be greeted by the warm open family and dining room, overlooked by the kitchen, the open feel inspiring quality time spent together, whether lounging in summer threads, cosy by the fire or cooking up a storm.
Moving through the house, bunk bedroom to the right, stairway down to second lounge room and laundry to the left, ending in the main bathroom, flanked by two bedrooms, one of which is en-suited and with deck access.
With a wrap around deck area, with shared access from the lounge and master bedroom, the flow of this informal comfortable family beach hideaway is perfect to unwind and slow down.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Great deck overlooking the trees and views beyond, comfy beds, Netflix was great and my family loved the pool table. It's a short walk or drive down the hill to the shops and the beach. Great communication and easy to check in & out. Thanks so much.

Really beautiful house in a great location. It’s tucked away in a quiet street not too far from the Main Street. The only negative was that the house wasn’t cleaned properly before our stay.

Great Place!

The weather was not great, so we really appreciated the fireplace and how cosy the lounge room is. The kids loved the toys and the games room. We loved the birds coming on the terrace in the morning. It's a great place for family stays, lots of space and activities.

David - 6th November 2018We have stayed at 2/17 Fern Avenue a number of times and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house has everything we needed for a break from the city and the fire is a welcome addition in winter. The kids (and adults!) took advantage of the games room downstairs and kept them occupied for hours. The walk to shops and cafes is easy as the house is far enough away from the main street to feel peaceful, but close enough to walk to. Good workout for the legs on the way back up! We would recommend staying here to anyone wanting a relaxing break the house has everything you need

Walking distance to the beach and surf club and all the nice places in Lorne. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped with a really nice relaxing family vibe. The huge games room and TV room downstairs and fireplaces make it a perfect place for all year round beach holidays. Cant wait to go back there with my extended family. Apologies for taking so long to respond to this Margot.

David - 16th October 2018Comfortable beds, wake up to birds as surrounded by beautiful trees. Upstairs- cosy by the fire. Fantastic room downstairs for all the family. Outdoor shower perfect for the kids coming in from the beach. Clean and well set out. Walk everywhere.

Great house, great location
Sarah - 14th June 2018The location was perfect to wander into town and the beach. The house was well set up to house our 2 families with plenty of beds and a well appointed kitchen. The games room is amazing for the kids during the day and grown ups in the evening. The house could do with a good clean, but that didn't detract from our stay.
