Located in the sought after lower Wallace Street area of Wye River, Drift is every bit about about location as it is about features and amenity. Those who know Wye River know how rare it is to be able to easily slip to and from the beach or shops without working up a sweat on your way home. In the case of Drift, even if you do, a quick dip in the spa will sort that out.

As amazing in summer as it is in winter, Drift ticks every box for every season. The open plan overlooks the summer beach activities equally as impressively as is does the cold winter swells. In fact, winter is even more enchanting with the warm fireplace.

The home is modern, light filled, well styled and set across 2 storeys. The lower level includes 2 separate bedrooms and main bathroom. Ascending a central stairwell, the upper level is fully open plan. This open plan even includes the ensuited master bedroom which means this home perfectly suits one couple who like the idea of waking up to the ocean view.

Double sliding doors both front and rear of the main living allow the space to expand at will, with the rear area featuring a built-in BBQ and hot tub.

Other features include a gas log fire, full service laundry, Nespresso coffee machine, off-street parking, reverse cycle heating and A/C, air fryer and slow cooker.

It can comfortably sleep larger families or even 2 families of 4, Drift welcomes those looking for a quiet beach getaway in contemporary surrounds.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Amazing location

Only a short walk to the beach and general store, gorgeous views but needs a deep clean

We stayed here about 4 years ago and in this time the house has seen little or no tlc. The sofa is disgusting and needs to be thrown out, and the place needs decorating and a bit of love. A good clean as well. Having said this, it’s still a great spot and has some good features and the price was not too bad.

Amazing Views

The views are spectacular, the location was great and handy to facilities The spa was incredibly dirty having a thick film of body fat and scum, this took a significant amount of time to clean to be able to use. There was a dead bat on the floor in the downstairs bathroom and dead flies/bugs on the windows and around the edges of the rooms. The wok/large pan was full of rust, the table was very sticky. Overall not clean. If the property was clean I would highly recommend this with 5 stars.

Great quiet location with incredible views of the bay. The bedrooms are generously catered for. We were pleasantly surprised with one room having one set of bunk beds plus a double- the kids loved it. The kitchen/lounge and dining area is a wonderful open plan space with plenty of natural light and views of the water. Close to Wye River‘s general store and pub this house Drift is a very special place to relax and unwind. Thanks for having us and we hope to visit again soon!
