A cosy house for two or three people in a great location. We have stayed here several times over the last 10 years or so. The view used to be better. It's a shame the trees in the caravan park have grown so tall they block out most of the view. Furniture and TV / hi fi are average quality but overall it's good value for the money.

It was all GREAT

Great property on the Great Ocean Road. Perfect location to get to all the sites along the GOR. Access to the beach not far from the house. Enough room for the whole family. Queen bed in the main bedroom looked old and well used, but was very comfortable, after spending all day out walking and driving a good nights sleep was needed to do it all again the next day. My niece and her friend shared the bedroom with the two single beds and used the 3rd room to keep their clothes as these rooms were on the small side. Great views from the kitchen/lounge up stairs. Having access to a whole house for 7 nights was soo much better than a motel, we could come and go when ever we wanted, didn't have to worry about other guests taking car park, we purchased groceries so we weren't eating out all the time, when we came 'home' after being out all day looking at the sites, we could relax in front of the tv, we played scrabble and monopoly. It made our long trip enjoyable.

Great family home. Fantastic ocean views. Roomy, clean and all amenities. Will be back

Perfect for Me!

This House & Location were Perfect for me. It needs a few Tweaks, but I didn't care. Owner seems Lovely too. I'd definitely go again!

Lovely place

We had a wonderful time at the house. A couple of suggestions to make it even better. The BBQ on the top verandah is well past its expiry date and the grill is flaking away which means you can't cook on it. Replacing this with a new one would be great so that you can BBQ and enjoy the views at the same time. A small one on a stand with no room below for birds nesting would solve this problem too. The windows to the verandah were very dirty when we arrived and we had to clean them so that we could enjoy the views. Thanks for considering these improvements.

Great location

Our third year staying here. Great cosy place, top location. Some new furniture added this year and a coffee machine. We will be back!

Cosy and spacious

I stayed here during the Great Ocean Road running festival- the location was perfect to avoid the crowds and road closures. The house is practical, spacious, comfortable and most importantly- WARM!

Superb Spot

Loved the place in a great location with fabulous views from the living room and kitchen area. Away from the crowds, the kids and I love walking to the pristine almost secluded beaches. Cosy and functional place fully equipped with everything you need including a gas log fire which beats the winter chills in no time. We'll definitely come again!

Top Notch

Fantastic place for a fishing trip. Could see the water from the balcony to the East and the South. Walking distance down to the rocks. Plenty of room for the boat. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and best thing was we caught a bag of fish.

Great location and views

Great location in a quiet cul-de-sac with the beach just a few moments walk away. Beautiful views of the ocean and reef - you can watch the antics of the seal colony and see the ships pass by. Being so close to the beach you fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves - always a selling point for me! The house and furnishings are a little tired but quite acceptable in terms of value for money.

Seaside Tranquility

Hunt Family of Four

Our 9 day stay at Corlett was lovely. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay for our family of four. The views and sound of the ocean from the balcony are wonderful. We enjoyed swimming, surfing and walks along the beach and rocks which can be accessed by walking just a short distance from the house. Marengo itself is a quiet little seaside township and you can drive or walk the short distance into Apollo Bay for a top up on groceries, some shopping or dining out. A lovely spot for a family holiday.
