Features include a front balcony with uninterrupted ocean views, a rear deck with an outside bath, Delonghi Nespresso coffee machine with limited pods supplied (then BYO), a combustion fireplace, WiFi and Foxtel, including sports channels so you do not miss a minute of the footy action!
Cape Paradiso provides the easy holiday escape, allowing you to bring the whole family along (including your pets!) and only a short 5-minute drive to the township of Apollo Bay.

Beautiful ocean view, but the house needs some love!
Ludmilla B - 1st April 2024Beautiful ocean view, great fireplace and location but the house is quite run down and needs some maintenance. Everything is falling apart… We’ve been to this house about 5 years ago, and since then nothing changed except for the new sofas. It will be great to bring some love to this beautiful place.

Katherine S - 17th January 2024Absolutely disheartening, nothing like the pictures shown, house was filthy and smelly, no maintenance what so ever, broken windows, marks on walls, stains everywhere, dirty toilets, aircon not working, bedding and pillows atrocious, upon requesting new pillows a highly intoxicated man dropped off linen, not even pillows which we asked for, holiday house from hell, we will definitely not be staying here again EVER.
Hi Katherine, We appreciate your feedback and apologise for the disappointment. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our properties. Upon review of your booking, it shows that we offered to send the cleaners back but you refused. An order for a new aircon was already made which will be installed at the property very soon. There are no broken windows. However, some of the fly screens, are bent but it's just the normal wear and tear. This is the same with the wall marks. About the pillows and bedding, the property does not include linen which shows on the listing details online. We also brought plenty of pillows. Brand new pillows. There is no filthy smell on the property, as it is well-ventilated and gets lots of sunlight. We offered to relocate you to another property but you declined. Rest assured that the owner is aware of some minor maintenance here and there that needs to be done.

Only let down was the couches very uncomfortable definitely need new ones as the view was lovely so would have been great to have comfy seating to enjoy it more. The other let down was lack of proper handrails on lower steps which made getting in and out of house pretty dangerous especially when wet.

Paradise at Cape Paradiso
Claire B - 29th January 2022Cape Paradiso is a lovely holiday home and has everything you need for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The views are spectacular, the lounges comfy and the location is second to none. The teenagers loved the outdoor bath (which is plumbed to hot water!) and we enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. The stairs to the property are quite steep but after a couple of days we all got used to them. We loved staying here and had a fabulous holiday!

The owners seem to be bird watchers, so the house comes with a bird guide, binoculars & telescope, and you can watch the threatened Rufous Bristlebird hop up and down outside (seriously, once you see them you see them all the time).

The house is very comfortable good beds, lovely wood fire and the open air bathtub is a treat ! Lots of bird life, resident koala and unfortunately some tiger snakes.The only negative is that the house could have been a bit cleaner and tidier in the kitchen ie: cupboards, saucepans, range hood and some dishwashing liquid and baking trays would have been appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.
Great Location and views
Nicole - 26th January 2020The views from this place were amazing and can be enjoyed from the main lounge, 2 of the bedrooms and from the large deck. The outdoor bath was luxury and the generous private parents room was nice escape at the end of the day. Access to the private dog friendly beach is only 5 minutes away and Marengo Beach only 10 minutes through the caravan park, remove the need to walk up Panorama drive. Well definitely be back.

Linda - 12th June 2018We had a wonderful time in this comfortable holiday home with spectacular views over the beach. So relaxing. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm too. The bath on the deck outside added to the relaxation, just the sound of the birds and the waves in the background.

Best views and quiet spot
Steph - 6th August 2015The advertised photos were probably taken 10 years ago, so some of the furniture and the house is showing wear and tear, but it is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and modern ( though no coffee machine) has quite a few cupboard essentials like salt, some spices, cooking oil, coffee/tea, washing up liquid etc, has very effective reverse cycle aircon in lounge/kitchen/dining area, as well as wood heater and plenty of wood, so we stayed in middle of winter and the house was warm. We had the bonus of king parrots, corellas, and other birds come and feed at the balcony, The house is on a very quiet street, the view is fantastic, would happily stay again. If you have a pet though, not a properly enclosed yard, but there is a small fenced off space near building (maybe 2m x 8m?) that is not suitable to leave a big dog there for more than a short time. Parking is also a little awkward, as road and drive are narrow, but otherwise, house is great.
