What can I say, absolute central position with access to all Apollo Bay has to offer, all you need to do is park your car/s in the large double garage with remote (with direct access to the property) and walk to everything on offer - the beach, foreshore, retail shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets... the list goes on. Returning to your holiday home, you'll find that although centrally located, the property also offers you the peace and tranquility we all enjoy while on holiday.

The second floor level features an open plan living, dining, kitchen configuration with a large deck area leading out from the living area with absolute ocean and Otway views, right around to Cape Patton, complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture. This is perfect place to relax on those lazy summer days and balmy summer nights. You will also find the master bedroom and a super large ensuite complete with separate shower and large bath and toilet.

The first floor offers 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over second bath and toilet. The laundry is also located on this level.

Lots of issues

We needed a stress-free rental, and didn't get it. The garage door didn't function, wasn't fixed. The TV reception was hopeless, and turned out to be a loose aerial cord. Not fixed. No WIFI (at $400/nt). The hot tub didn't work - fixed half-way thru. Exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms ineffective. Cooktop labels worn away, and don't work on low setting. Nails protruding from the deck. Delivery trucks wake you early. Very good views, close to beach and comfy beds. more feedback space needed!

Was very worried about booking this one because of a previous negative review, but i am very glad i did. It was a lovely apartment with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view was great, the apartment was clean and it was very centrally located. Will definitely book again. Thank you.

Disappointing trip

We were very disappointed with this trip given the owner hadnt paid the electricity bill so there was no power. Great ocean road accommodation were amazingly helpful in securing us somewhere to stay for the night (Best Western were fantastic! Apartments clean, staff so kind and professional.) thankfully the owner chose to pay the bill overnight so we were able to stay, otherwise we would have had to drive back to Melbourne because the rest of Apollo Bay was booked out for the running festival. Also while we were there the fridge froze all our food and the heater broke. Again, Great Ocean Road Accom were very helpful. I would highly recommend the Butter Factory apartments but not number 8! The owner knew we were arriving but didnt pay the bill avoiding it being disconnected nor did they bother to pay it once they knew we were waiting for them to pay it.
