This is a beautiful house located about 6ks away from Apollo Bay on the GOR. It is well equipped but gets very cold and could do with some more blankets. We were disappointed to have to drive to Apollo Bay to both collect and return the key adding 30mins onto the journey from Melbourne. A lock box at the property would be much easier for guests. I also love air bnb for the bespoke touches that caring owners put into their properties. This is not an owner run property, is very clinically managed by the property company and that took some of the holiday magic away from me. There were lots of texts before, during and after my stay reminding me of what I could and couldn’t do and threatening charges if we broke the rules. For me as a visitor this didn’t make me feel very welcome or stress free. I also thought it was very expensive especially with a 3 night minimum.

Overall good experience. photos are little deceiving. the place is actually much smaller and old than what it appears by photos. location was good. 5 min walk to beach.

We had a great time at this house. They provide us with clean towels and fresh linen. The sea view was beautiful. But if I wanted to change any aspect of this house it will be the entrance to the house which needed renovation as it was hard to bring the car up the hill as the driveway wasn’t asphalt or concrete. Also after hours support could be stronger and faster to respond. Thanks

Great property with beautiful views of the ocean, short walk to the beach and short drive to Apollo Bay. The property could do with a little bit of maintenance but overall we had a great stay and would recommend the property to others looking to go away with a group.

Great Location, but ...

We booked a weekend getaway for our family group. The location and views were great. But, we did have some issues. The bottom QS bedroom (and bottom bathroom) clearly have a rising damp problem and smelt of mould. The owner is aware of this as there were containers of DampRid in both rooms. The bottom QS bedroom should not be used given the problem. There were some other issues (items not working or missing) which we advised to the real estate agent and would hope that they are acted upon. Would have given 3.5 stars but only had the choice of 3 or 4, so 3 it is.
