Bertram is possibly Lorne's largest older style holiday home suitable for those wanting something basic and tidy but with fantastic views to enjoy.
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 spacious living areas, deck and an open fire to attract winter holiday makers as well as summer. It has easy access to Stony Creek beach, away from all the hustle and bustle.
This property offers Stay 7 Pay 5 from May 1st to September 1st, excluding school holidays and long weekends
Strict No Party Policy (schoolies, hens, bucks etc)

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.
Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Huge potential but dusty
Cecily M - 10th February 2023We understand that the house is older, we knew that when booking, but that does not excuse the lack of cleanliness. The levels of dust on the carpets, skirtings and windowsills was not acceptable or healthy. We were all affected by itchy eyes and throats. We spent half a day cleaning. Although the owner agreed to a part refund, we only received 2/3 of it from the agent. There are many other wonderful places to stay on the great ocean road.

Wasnt happy
Wayne O - 19th May 2022As advertised with dvd player ..there was none ..nor the hot tap did not work in bath tub ..so couldn't have a bath..my daughter had to sleep on couch ipststairs as a damp smell which she had head aches..alot of cobwebs and spiders .. the only good thing was the veiws..also toilet bowl was dirty

A Great Holiday House
Peter - 1st February 2019This older style holiday home has large rooms and sleeps 13 (4 QS beds, 5 singles) plus stunning views. the owners are upgrading the property but it is very comfortable as is. Nice kitchen, two modernised bathrooms, one older style bathroom and two large sitting/family rooms plus a very usable deck to enjoy the view. Only a 10 min walk to the nearest beach and 5 mins in the car to Lorne central and the SLSC beach. We will book again.
Big House and Great Location
Katherine - 18th November 2018This house is in a great location in Lorne. Great views and within easy walking distance to the beach and only 20 min walk to the town centre. The house is large with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and comfortable beds. There's plenty of cutlery and crockery and the kitchen is awesome! Good sized fridge and plenty of cupboard space. There are 2 living areas - one upstairs and one downstairs which is great for the kids to hang out. The house is gradually being renovated and will look great once completed. The only downside was that the carpets were not cleaned properly after previou guest had pets inside, the bath had not been thoroughly cleaned and the place could do with some pest control, as there were spiders, bugs and cobwebs around the place. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again with a large group as it was ideal for our purposes.
